Happy Halloween
Guess who right before the age of 22 has finally watched all of Batman The Animated Series?
Black Manta! He had autism once! Then Aquaman cured him! And he turned good! Then he got bad again and it was never talked about again as far as I know.
I barely remember what happened, I guess I just wanted to draw Manta.
He liked the touch of water, that’s a thing.
I can enjoy the touch of some things. Like… wooden chairs and jeans.
And I can dislike stuff like the weight of the water on your body post-shower or snow on my face, it feels like I’m gonna bleed.
Touch is weird, I really don’t have much to say about it.
"Dreams save us. Dreams lift us up and transform us. And on my soul, I swear... until my dream of a world where dignity, honor and justice becomes the reality we all share, I'll never stop fighting. Ever."
Just a preview of how far I've come on a wallpaper I'm working on. The idea is to have his supporting cast around him, looking up in the sky but for right now, it's just Supes and the ghosts of his past
and some other Superman-stuff I've made cause I just love the guy. He's nice.
Happy Superman Day
Can’t say the weekend at Comic Con was the best weekend of my life but it had its moments. One highlight was seeing all the cosplay. Got a photo with some fellow Hufflepuffs, got a selfie with my favourite Doctor, stood behind a Newt in line and never saw him again so sadly no photo there. But I also saw a lot of young girls dressed up as Rey. These dedicated homemade costumes.
I’m not really the biggest Sequel-fan but after years of hate and negativity and toxicity online, it was fresh to see in person that these new films have their own fans. These films which for so long have been associated with such negativity and conflict is given some love as well.
Tony Stark!
Re-checked some sources before this by Stan Lee and more in depth about writing an "unlikeable hero" and the readers being anti-war so in response, Iron Man became a weapons-manufacturer and industrialist and etc. so I got the idea to make the background and the armors in the shape kind of like a war-poster and the suits forming this V-shape like air force planes.
Iron Man has also become about always upgrading and evolving so it's iconic suits from every era, 60s, 70s, 80s, and up to the 2010s.
Tony's arm was originally up in the air but I wanted him to hit the metal (of screen) and the "idea" of the Iron Man would be born from the sparks and lights of the hit but changing his arms kinda messed up the body and after hours, I never really got it to work so a little blur, a little darkness and I hope it doesn't affect this otherwise meh-character poster.
