10 Prompts to Make Your Story More Exciting:

Set someone on fire. Twice.

Pause a chase sequence for a karaoke competition. Make the song choice key to the climax.

Give the villain a parrot whose mocking repetition undermines them at the most inconvenient moments. 

Add a dragon. 

Set your romantic confession scene on a fast-moving vehicle.

Make readers think a beloved character dies, only to reveal them alive and ready for action later. You get all of the angst and none of the hate mail!

Make the power go out at the worst time.

Snow your heroes in with the villain. Do they kill each other or break out monopoly? 

Force your characters to act as other characters (disguises, body swapping, go wild with this one).

Add another dragon.

Some idioms and phrases you should know about part II :

Read The Riot Act : to scold, reprimand, or reprove one severely for an error or mistake.

Be Cleaned Out : to be emptied or devoid of money, food, resources, etc.

The Stars Are Aligned : current situation or set of conditions is ideal for the prospects of some activity or endeavor.

Climb The Social Ladder : to improve one's position within the hierarchical structure or makeup of a culture, society, or social environment.

Wash One's Mouth Out With Soap : to punish one for using rude, vulgar, or obscene language by cleaning their mouth with soap, usually used merely as a threat.

I SUPER LOVE TIM AND CASSANDRA BECAUSE:

they went from stranger (hell yeah Timothy avoid Cass because he felt intimidated by Cass’ assassin background) to friends 

Cass is always ready to rescue help Timothy

she took care of Tim and worried about him, not only because the big brood Bat told her so but she did it on her own accord too

while Tim took care of her too, they took care of each other and I love it so much

CASSANDRA IS TIM’S FAMILY. I REPEAT CASSANDRA IS ONE OF TIM’S PRECIOUS FAMILY
