"This is Raven." Danny pointed out, slurping his smoothie.
"Hi."
"Her dad is Trigon."
"Oh, that the guy who-" tucker spoke up.
"Yea, same guy who kept trying to invite himself into my annual ball each year in the infinite realm? Yea, that guy." Danny said as went straight for his burger.
"And that his daughter or si-
"Yea, his daughter, supposedly some secret weapon to try and invite into my home dimension to go to the party. I just put one of my spare anti trigon rings on her, disconnecting the line between him to her when she reverse summoned me for a bargain for something, and she kept following me ever since" Danny said, munching on his burger then sipping the remaining of his smoothie.
"Danny, I think you accidentally married trigon's daughter." Tucker flat out said as danny choked on his smoothie.

"Hey, Bats, can I have a word?" John asked as everyone started filling out of the meeting room.
Batman gave him the side eye. "You don't usually come to meetings."
John raised his hands in surrender. "Caught me, I'm really here to ask you a favor."
Batman looked over by the door, where it looked like Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Flash were there waiting for him. But, he turned back to John and asked "What do you want?"
John tried not to cringe at the tone in his voice, telling himself that's just what a tired after meeting Batman sounded like. "I need help with a puzzle box."
John pulled said box out of his coat pocket and held it up for Batman to take, but the man examined it closely without touching it. "What's in it?"
"A world-ending weapon, probably. There's like, a 10% chance it's a world-ending monster." John helpfully provided.
"And you want to open it..."
"Yeah..." John sighed then explained, "It's part of a pair, with this-" John pulled a gear shaped dial puzzle out of his pocket. "But, since I solved this one, that one wont work for me."
"Why do you want to open it?"
"Because, whoever solves the puzzles control it."
"But you've been magically locked out of solving this one." Batman pointed at the box still in John's hand.
"Yeah, so I need someone good at solving puzzles -you- and who's dabbled enough in magic to effect the box -you again- and who I trust not to use whatever's in it to destroy the world."
Batman gave him the patented bat-interrogation glare. "You still haven't explained why you want to release this weapon."
"It's a fail safe. Like the two keys thing governments put in front of their nuclear bombs. According to the texts I read, this isn't the only way to release the whatever-it-is, but once we solve both these puzzles, you and I will have control of it and absolutely no one else can get it." John wiggled the box at Batman. "We do this now, we don't have to pray I can track down all the alternate methods, and neither of us can use it without the other's permission."
Batman closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "You're certain this is the best method to ensure the safety of as many people as possible?"
"Yep."
"And you're certain I'm the right person you want as the other half of your fail safe? Not another magic user?"
"I feel the degree of separation will be useful in determining what situations call for using a world-ending weapon."
Batman let another deep sigh and took the puzzle box.
"You two staying late?" Superman asked as John and Batman sat back down at the table. Him, Wonder Woman, and the Flash came over to check on them.
"Sorry, we can get dinner together another time." Batman said without taking his eyes off the box. Each side had nine squares, each with a rune on them that glowed when pressed. There was a pattern, John was sure, but after he'd solved the dial puzzle, the runes where blurred and the squares didn't light up when he pressed them.
"How long do you think your puzzle thing will take?" Flash asked, looking over Batman's shoulder as he seemed to solve the puzzle quickly. Or so John hoped, again, he couldn't actually see what kind of progress Bats was having.
"Ten minutes, tops." Nightwing interrupted. Batman did glance at him, but then went right back to work on the box. "We still have plenty of time to go to Bobby's before closing."
"I thought you had better things to do?" Superman asked.
"And pass up on burgers with you? Never." Nightwing said with a wink. "Is John joining us when this is done?"
"I'll have to take whatever comes out of the box back to the house of Mystery." John said, though burgers did sound good at the moment.
Silence lapsed into the room as they watched Batman work. And ten minutes later, it was done. The puzzle box glowed and one of it's faces folded into itself, leaving a hole shaped just like the gear puzzle. Batman held it out and John dropped the gear into it. The room filled with a bright flash, and once it faded, sitting on the conference table between John and Batman was a toddler. He had black hair and bright blue eyes and freckles scattered across his face. He reached out a little hand towards them and started babbling.
"Fuck."
So cute! 🥰 Bruce finally gets to see his kids again, and it's so many emotions. Jason’s alive! Everyone is happy! … They’re… so much happier without me… I've never seen Tim smile like that before. …
Jack Fenton answered.
Jack Fenton sounds so much like Bruce at first listen if someone is tired and emotionally wrecked that Dick started going on his tangeant, pleading to come home.
Jack Fenton doesn't mind more kids at all! Neither does Maddie!
Jack tells him to come home and gives him the address to Fentonworks, and gets the guest room set up and ready to go.
Dick, finally arriving three days later, still sleep deprived and not all there, stares at the blimp on the building and starts to think he may have dialed the wrong number.
He doesn't have time to cry and go back, though, because Jack and Maddie Fenton whirlwind their way out the door and corral him into his new bedroom, treating him like he's always been their son and he's just been gone for awhile.
And Dick...Dick needs this. He's three steps from a mental breakdown, can't think past two sentences worth of planning, and he hasn't slept in who knows how long. He can regret later, right now, he'll take it.
He allows them to tuck him into bed, allows himself to fall asleep, and leaves the freaking out to a more awake him.
Danny, meanwhile, is having a little chat with a few of the ghosts that regularly follow Dick Grayson, and goes invisible and intangible to just...fly over to where this guy had been and steal the info he was after.
Because holy shit, that dude looks like he needs a break.
Or: Dick gets adopted as an adult by the Fentons instead of Bruce, and gets a really weird support network.
I have an intense need for this particular AU, for the Batfam to learn of his previous vigilantism, and for the kids to go: Seeee, we didn’t involve a civilian. ✨
Danny has been having issues trying to find a job that allows him to use his powers. He’s no longer in the superhero scene anymore but why not still put his powers to use?
After successfully gaining a job as a Stuntman, he didn’t know what he signed himself up to do but he took multiple classes to prepare and fell in love with the profession. His powers letting him further excel in his career as things like flight, intangibility, and duplication all were things that studio heads were delighted of as it lessened the cost of production.
Stuntman don’t get a lot of recognition by average film goers which is fine for Danny. Staying under the radar and living a normal life is all he could ever ask for.
Sadly for Danny, that anonymity didn’t last forever. Danny was hired as a stunt performer in a 90s satire esque autobiography movie written and starring the Gotham Billionaire Bruce Wayne.
During an on set interview midway though Bruce explaining to the interviewer that Hot Shots was his biggest inspiration for this film, Danny casually walked behind the set, just trying to get to the costume department and thinking nothing of being temporarily on camera behind the Billionaire.
The day the interview was uploaded onto YouTube, Danny’s phone was blowing up from messages from his friends and family telling him he had become an internet sensation overnight. It turns out his casual walk behind Bruce Wayne led to the internet losing their minds trying to find the Bruce Wayne look-alike. I mean, Danny DID become Bruce’s primary stunt double because he looked so similar, that’s the whole point of stunt doubles, but Danny didn’t think it was THAT similar.
Did you lose this?
Inspired by this post.

Ok, time to add even more angst here. Danny is especially protective of anyone with powers. He knows about the meta trafficking rings and absolutely will not let any of them get close to those he protects in Crime Ally, even helps mentor some of the kids who need it. One day, a meta kid, who’s particularly struggling with their powers, asks him if his family will accept him back once he learns to control his powers, his eyes watery. Danny gets a pained look on his face, as he wraps the boy in a general hug, allowing him to cry out all his tears before telling the kid that, it was very likely that his parents would never understand, that it’s not ok, and that he shouldn’t try to seek the approval of people like that, but also that it’s ok to still love them, and miss them, and grieve the fact that they don’t treat you like they used to.
Once he finishes his speech, Dani turns to him, arms crossed, “You need to tell yourself that about Grandma and Grandpa. They literally tried to kill you. Multiple times, and you keep making excuses for them.” It doesn’t take long for the rest of the Ally to hear, and now they’re just as ready to maul Danny’s parents as they are to destroy Vlad. Cause, no wonder they didn’t care what The Bastard was doing to their son of they were actively attempting to kill him. Red Hood is starting to wonder if he needs to make an exception and leave Crime Ally for a bit to take care of The Bastard and Danny’s parents.

Teen dad Danny Fenton moving into Crime Alley and getting a reputation for helping. Street kids willing to babysit Ellie and Dan while he’s job hunting can spend the night, have a meal, get cash, whichever they choose. Sec workers who do Ellie’s hair/nails/babysit some nights also get the same benefits. He will treat anyone with injuries for the low price of showing Ellie and Dan their guns/taking them to the observatory/getting him job opportunities.
All of the people in Crime Alley know the single meta dad with two kids, who has helped half the alley at least. Everyone is also aware of how Ellie calls her other parent ‘The Bastard’, and how bad their nightmares are, the ones they have to call Danny for(A few of his repeat guests have seen the scars and burns on his arms. Some of the older street kids recognize that hunted look he gets when people touch him when he doesn’t know they are there. Some of the sec workers notice how protective he is of his kids, and the younger workers. No matter who they are, they all notice how Dan gets quiet and angry when asked about his ‘other dad’. They all have sworn never to let those kids go back to the other dad, Danny included. They are a part of Crime Alley now, and they protect their own)
Danny doesn’t realize how far his reputation goes/how much everyone trusts him until two of his regulars bring in an injured Red Hood, promising him whatever he wants in exchange for him helping their boss.
yes please, to all of this. Can someone write this?
Lex Luthor after years of r&d stumbles upon ectoplasm. He then uses this experimental fuel source to power his machines for years.
The GIW gets wind of this, the GIW who currently have both Jazz and Danny in containment after Maddie and Jack handed them over.
Lex finds these two children and for a moment he’s back in his childhood, remembering his father. His horrible drunkard of a father, and he sees red. When he calms down the GIW base is nothing more than a smoking crater and he is carrying the two children.

Depending on who and when you asked someone, the Speed Force and Clockwork could be many things to each other: friends, enemies, lovers, brothers, each other, or the very same person. They were both, after all, masters of Time and that had to bring some sort of a connection. On the other hand, they both handled Time very differently from each other which more often brought conflict. Throughout all of their different labels and ever shifting moods one thing was true: the Speed Force and Clockwork were gossiping old biddies about everything and everyone that ever was or would be.
(And, if occasionally, they came together in way that no mortal mind could ever comprehend, well, then that was their business and no one else’s.)
The gossiping old biddies part is what was important in that moment. Not to most people, of course. Most people didn’t have the constitution to be aware of temporal fluctuations, and, even if they had, the current wibbliness of time really only mattered to two people: one Wally West and one Daniel Fenton. Or by other names which might matter more at the moment: Kid Flash and Phantom, the Speed Force’s chosen and Clockwork’s cog, and, most importantly, beloved pseudo-grandsons.
It’s just, the Speed Force sighed, or came as close as a cosmic entity could manage to a sigh, Wally keeps falling instantly for people that he knows are unattainable.
They sounded young right then, like a dramatic teen, and Clockwork unconsciously shifted his form to match. “If they’re unattainable, why does he fall for them?”
Because they’re unattainable. I think he’s afraid to fall for someone he could have because… because of me.
Clockwork snorted. “Isn’t that a bit egotistical?”
The space around them sparked with static. No!
“Really?”
Really! He’s afraid because of what I’ve given him! He’s not simple a person anymore— he’s a cosmic force! The static faded to a sad sputtering and then stopped. All of existence seemed to drag around them. And how often is he going to run into someone who handle that? He’s afraid of trying, my poor boy…
Clockwork nodded in commiseration. His form aged and shifted until he floated hunched over himself. “I see. Danny has become like that as his power has grown. He has pulled away from the living and dead a like. I have concerns about his bonds if it continues.”
The Speed Force jolted, reality spinning in a sudden whirl. That’s it!
“Stop that,” Clockwork ordered, wrenching things back into control with a firm hand. “What are you on about? What silly idea do you have now?”
Danny is cosmic.
“Yes,” Clockwork agreed dryly.
Wally needs someone who understands cosmic! Danny needs someone who has strong ties to the world! Wally’s whole self is saving the world. It’s perfect.
Clockwork actually took a moment to consider the thought.
You know I’m right.
“You’re never right.”
Bitch.
“But,” Clockwork said slowly. The Speed Force buzzed in anticipation. “This might at least be worth a try.”
I told you!
“They can’t suspect it’s a set up though,” Clockwork admonished quickly.
Of course not, too damn stubborn. But… it wouldn’t be too hard to make their paths cross, now would it?
“No,” Clockwork grinned. “No I don’t think that it would.”

AN: Okay, so we didn't actually get to Danny/Wally but this idea got in my head and lol. Idk maybe I'll continue this one at some point down the road!
It would just be the difference of “my child” adopted or “my brother” adopted. 😂
“That's fair actually.”
This statement managed to silent the room Batman had been trying to settle for 5 minutes. He had told the Justice League about his contingency plans, and they were all rather appalled. Well, except for one, it seems.
Danny Phantom, a relatively new hire, had spoken up.
Superman questioned him. “What do you mean, fair?! It shows he doesn't trust us!”
“Trust has nothing to do with it.” Phantom responded. “It's about precaution.”
Phantom paused for a moment, letting it sink in before continuing. “Tell me, how many of you have never been mind controlled?” The league seemed somewhat abashed.
He spoke once more, “It's important to have a plan in place to stop someone when they can't stop themselves.”
“I have contingencies already in place for myself, frankly I am glad to know that someone else does too.” Phantom got a haunted look in his eyes. “I’ve seen what could happen if I go dark.”
