We are Anas and Ahmad Basil, along with our family of eight, from Gaza. I, Anas, am 18 years old and a high school graduate with a 93% average. My brother Ahmad, 14, is a talented mathematician known as "Doctor of the Future." Despite our big dreams for the future, we are currently struggling to survive amidst the devastating effects of war.
Today, our priority is no longer our dreams 😔— it’s ensuring our family’s survival amidst the harsh living conditions and severe scarcity of resources 💔.
Why This Campaign Matters Now More Than Ever: ⁉️ The ongoing war has stripped us of stability, access to basic necessities like food and water, and the opportunity for education. It has destroyed our livelihoods, taking away our jobs and sources of income, leaving us unable to rebuild or support our loved ones. We now face unimaginable hardships, entirely dependent on donations to meet our needs. With the soaring cost of living and severe shortages of resources, even basic survival has become an overwhelming challenge.
Your support is crucial to help us endure these conditions. This campaign is no longer just about escaping Gaza — it’s about keeping our family alive and healthy until we can find a way out.
Your generosity can make the difference between survival and despair for our family.
Every donation, no matter how small, keeps hope alive for us.
With all our gratitude, Anas & Ahmad

hey reminder that connecting humanity is extremely low on esims rn and desperately needs esim donations and also that there are a lot of cool things you can get in exchange for a donation
cutting davrin out - of his own death, his own epilogue, his own plot - in favour of his dog was a calculated choice bioware made: people won't care about the black, indigenous-coded man unless we give them a reason to, so rather than putting work and effort into giving him a complicated, emotionally impactful plot that ties into the themes of the game, we'll just stick him with a cute animal and hope that's enough to get people to care, and it worked! assan is the thing people care about. i've seen davrin's death scene giffed and tagged with just assan, i've seen people saying they hated making this choice because assan's just a baby, people saying they hate that assan dies alongside davrin because he "doesn't have to" . like, folks, can we step back and think for a second abt what agenda the writers could've had in making you choose between returning fan favourite fantasy catholic white woman harding and late-recruited indigenous-coded black man davrin, with a gimmick thrown in so you can pretend to feel bad? can we? for me?
My name is Mohammed Ayyad from Gaza. My wife, children and I were displaced quickly since the first days of the war on Gaza, leaving behind all our wealth and dreams. We are forced to leave our home and live in the south of Gaza, Rafah.
A few days after we left the house and went to the south (Rafah) we announce our tactics to our home with ease our beautiful next and destroyed everything we owned. Everything we had went with the wind, we are now working in hell (the tent) suffering one from collecting wood to cook food which is clearly difficult to produce from the water that was spread and is polluted by the cursed war and our work we lose our source of livelihood.
I became a desperate refugee and dug into a very small tent, without water and food life became horrible and sad with the disappearance of the need to survive. It is a struggle for survival.
Because of the continuous bombing and the difficulty of living with the high expectations our life is security our life is peace, we ask generous people to donate to service our planes. Our lives are threatened at any time, and everyone is exposed and death is not. We have never been safely moved to a place until war, and we have never lost our lives at any moment. Every little contribution counts, and your donation, small and big, makes an impact and helps improve safety and compatibility.

A Family's Unending Journey for Safety in Gaza
My name is Mohammed, and I’m 35 years old, working as a nurse in a hospital here in Gaza. My wife, Diana, is 27, and together we’re trying to give our two young daughters a safe, stable life in a place that knows so little of either.
Our journey began in December 2023. That was when the military ordered us to evacuate our home in Al-Nuseirat. With only minutes to decide, we grabbed what we could carry, took our little girls, and moved to Khan Yunis, hoping it would be safer.
But our time there was short. We were ordered to leave Khan Yunis, so we packed up again and moved to Rafah. For a moment, we let ourselves hope that this would be the end of our running, that maybe we could start to rebuild. But Rafah wasn't safe either. Another order came, and we had no choice but to return to Al-Nuseirat, despite the dangers.
Today, we're renting a small apartment in Al-Nuseirat. It barely fits us, but it's the only place we can go. We live every day in fear, wondering if the next evacuation order will come. Each move takes away a bit more of the stability we try so hard to create for our girls. Every time we’re forced to flee, it feels like we leave behind pieces of the life we’ve worked to build.
There’s little left to hold on to but each other, and the hope that maybe one day we’ll finally find safety.

Thank you for support and kindness

This is a video I took from Bisan's page because I feel like this is important. Bisan, here talks about the second winter of this genocide and some of the important points are:
the rains have caused the sea level to rise and it has flooded the tents which were set up on the beach.
speaking of tents themselves- they do not preserve heat. It is not made to preserve heat and yet gazans have had to live in these shelters for over a year
last November there still were shops; there were means of production, however little, to produce clothes, coats, and blankets that could keep people from freezing...right now there is nothing as every inch of the Gaza Strip has been carpet bombed.
Israel has blocked life sustaining supplies and fuel like coal and wood have started to run out: it is becoming impossible for people keep warm.
I don't have much to say anymore and can only request you to keep your eyes on Gaza. Gazans are struggling to survive and right now every little donation can go a long way into sustaining life. My friend, Siraj Abudayeh ( @siraj2024 ) has been struggling too and while his tent was not washed away in the waves, it did drown because of the destruction of sewage wells. He hopes that if not all, he can at least help some of the most vulnerable members of his family by continuing to rent a shelter. However since his old campaign was abruptly shut down by gofundme, he lost a lot of money and right now he can no longer afford the shelter.
Please help support Rawan and her loved ones as they continue to endure the unimaginable. Rawan is currently very sick, so the funds are necessary for affording medicines and essential goods for survival. Please help her by sharing her fundraiser and donating whatever you can!

“My name is Eslam from Gaza, I’m 29 years old, and I’m a children teacher from Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. a mother of two daughters, Hanaa 5 years old, and Alma, 10 months old. My husband Rasmi is the director of 3 language and training centers. In this war, our house was completely destroyed and razed to the ground, and my husband’s centers were blown up. He lost his job, and we were completely displaced, and we are now homeless and jobless, My two young daughters constantly suffer from diseases due to malnutrition and water pollution.
Danger and death surround us all day and all night. We have lost everything and depend on donations to survive and, most of all, to have any hope of escaping this genocide and evacuating to safety in Egypt. The cost of daily living continues to rise significantly in Gaza - imagine that we cannot find the type of milk for our daughter because of its high price. There is no kind of detergent and this is the cause of skin diseases for my two little girls. We bought a piece of soap for $30! ، and detergent is 100$"

Please bring us back to life without war, destruction, genocide or killing because this is what fills our memories after we forget what a life full of hope is like ‼️
I'm Ashraf from the war-torn Gaza. I've lived an entire life under siege in Gaza, facing relentless military actions and life-threatening conditions daily. In October 2023, the conflict escalated drastically, devastating my newly built house, my neighborhood,my workplace, and jeopardizing the lives of my family.
My wife, Ghadeer @ghadeerarqan , and I live in Gaza with our baby son Yamen. My wife gave birth to Yamen during the war, and it is all he has ever known. Yamen has spent the tenth months of his young life without a stable home, surviving a genocide.
I mourn the loss of our safe haven, but more urgently, I need to secure a future for my family away from the constant threat of bombings that have become our grim reality.
Meet Yamane, our precious tenth-months-old. Who was born during this war, We aspire to provide him with opportunities that surpass our own experiences, fostering a future filled with joy and prosperity.
This campaign is a call to arms for all who believe in the transformative power of community support. By contributing, you're not just donating; you're actively shaping Yamane's world, ensuring his journey is filled with the promise and potential every child deserves. Join us in making a profound impact on his life
Yamen... he's only a baby. He doesn't understand the fear that grips us, the darkness that engulfs our lives. He just smiles, his eyes bright with innocent wonder, oblivious to the terror that surrounds him. He reaches for me with tiny hands, his laughter a fragile melody in this symphony of destruction. 💔
Your generosity is a beacon of hope for my family, especially for my little baby boy Yaman👶🩷, who deserves a future free from fear and filled with opportunity.
Thank you for standing with us during this incredibly challenging time. Your support means the world to us, 🌺🩷🌿🕊
But we still need your help to reach our goal. Please continue to share our campaign and consider contributing if you can. Together, we can create a brighter future for Yamane and all children affected by this conflict.

This is a result of the inhumane decisions that members of this administration want you to be silent about in public for fear of a loss of “civility”.
cosmic partners (boyfriends)
Based on "The Fall" by Alan Stephens Foster
the writer’s urge to ask your friends “do you wanna see a little somethin’ i’ve been working on?” when the little somethin’ you’ve been working on is 800 words and ends in the middle of a sentence
ATTENTION WILD VEILGUARD SPOILERS!!!! But I cried and laughed when I draw it 💀
Lucanis: My Rook.
Spite: OUR Rook.
Viago: Teia and I are having a baby.
Rook: That's gre-
Viago, slamming adoption papers on the table: It's you, sign here
ever since I was little I knew I never wanted anyone to turn the big light on
Sorry, excuse me, just imaging Spite taking over a romanced Lucanis' body when Rook is pulled into the regret prison, kicking Ghilan'nain's dead body over and over again, screaming to give Rook back until Davrin and Bellara have to drag him away as he slowly fades back into a sobbing Lucanis...
I was surprised no one was talking about Rook trying to say Lucanis that they love him before the battle against Ghilan'nain, and Lucanis not allowing it, just for Rook to be lock up in the Fade for weeks. The angst, the regrets Lucanis should have felt.
Then I realized that it might not be as obvious in English. In the second wheel of that conversation, if you choose "I'm here to help you" Rook starts a sentence with "Lucanis, I...", before Lucanis makes them stop. There are a lot of things they could have said with that "I", but in the Spanish subtitles, Rook doesn't say "I...", they say "Te...".
There are a handful of sentences you can say, but there are far less possibilities than in English. One of them, the one that makes more senses in the context, is "Te quiero". I love you. Lucanis knows what they are going to say and he doesn't want to hear it, because when you put your businesses in order, you're preparing for the end. He said that much during a banter, but sadly I can't remember why or with whom.
Anyway, Rook complains after that conversation.
In English it would be: "Right, business as usual. Definately not thinking about that all day" They've been waiting the whole day to say that. They've been preparing themself to say "I love you" to Lucanis, and Lucanis didn't let them.
Then he lost Rook. Rook tried to say I love you, and now Lucanis would never hear that, he could never say it back. They lost their only chance and it was his fault.
Or so he thought, because Rook comes back.
That's why there is no more hesitation after. That's why Lucanis is the one that says 'I love you' before the final confrontation. Because he made that mistake once, and he's not making it ever again.
more detco doodle wips! (of wildly varying contexts LOL)
i love listening to my fiancée drawing

Rook and Lucanis' banter during the Siege was a highlight
