Sandy wasn't able to keep a straight face at Marcel's incapable ability to comprehend the situation. Instead, it dropped into a 'are you hearing this' kind of expression that she cast at Aarin who, clear to see, had a grasp on the situation. The similarities between him and the boy were there. The hair, the eyes, the complexion. He clearly had his mother's nose, but that was all she could claim they had alike. And if that hadn't been a dead giveaway, there was the fact she basically named him after his father. Marcel and Marcello. "Yes he is." She told him, adjusting the boy on her lap. The young boy was way too occupied with a napkin anyway to be aware of the tension between the three adults. "I would've told you sooner but someone wasn't answering my phone calls, and it's not a thing to text about. And I figured it was best to tell you two at the same time. I would want everything in the open." @marcelvaughn @aarinxduskin
When a blonde woman approached the table, Aarin was a bit caught off guard by her. "Oh, it's, it's nice to meet you, too." The brunette was surprised by the words coming out of her mouth, partly wondering if they were genuine or not. When Marcel's ex-girlfriend sat down across from them and placed the young boy into her lap, calling him Marcello, Aarin felt her jaw starting to fall slack. She turned to look at Marcel, who seemingly hadn't a clue what was going on. "Marcel," she looked at her soon to be husband before looking back across the table, "I think that's your son." The words fell from her lips as it felt like her jaw hit the table. @marcelvaughn @sandyxpowell
Sandy knew that she was going to wreak havoc on Marcel's life barging in like this, but sometimes grand gestures were meant to be made. Besides, it wasn't like he had granted her the pleasure of having a phone call with him, so there she was. She had spotted the two from the entrance, not bothering to take off her coat for she was certain that the two of them weren't in the mood of dining with her after all. Call it a hunch. So she moved between the tables, hand occupied by the little boy walking besides her, curiously looking about. "Good evening, you two." She announced her presence, her smile bright even before they turned their gazes on them. "You must be Aarin, nice to meet you, he wasn't lying when he said he was the lucky one." she complimented the woman, even if she could care little. "I'm not the kind to keep you in suspense." She continued, sitting down across from them, lifting the little boy onto her lap. "Meet Marcello. The whole reason we're here." @marcelvaughn

How Marcel had gotten Aarin to agree to come with him and meet an ex from his NFL days for dinner was beyond him, but Sandy had insisted, and the way she had indicated that she was going to seek him and Aarin out regardless had made him insist. For some reason, it had sounded important, and there had been this nagging feeling at the pit off his stomach ever since their brief conversation, that had left him feeling like he should go. It being so close to their wedding, the last thing they needed was any rumors to start circling around, so Marcel made sure to hold his fiance's hand tight as they walked together towards the restaurant, exactly a minute to the agreed time. "Thank you for doing this.." He said, looking over at her, "It shouldn't take too long." Or so he hoped. @aarinxduskin
"Oh, I bet. I love that for you." Sandy nudged him, then placed her hands on her hips. "So skeptical, bunny. But it's because it's something you need to see. And if you want me to beat it afterwards, that's all fine and dandy. You can finish dinner with your lady love." She told him, the way he acted only making her feel more determined to push through with what was on her mind. A laugh escaped her lips when he mentioned her boyfriend, causing her to tilt her head and smile. "That's adorable." Sandy laughed, then shrugged her shoulders. "I am giving you the path of least resistance, Marcel. Either you show, or you don't. I'll just treat myself for a bout of shopping. I heard there's an adorable clothing boutique here I just have to see." An underlined threat. But she would deny knowing his betrothed owned it. "Neptune Oyster, tonight at six-thirty. If you need an incentive. The sooner we get through this, the sooner I'll be out of here." She told him, then flashing him a bright smile before she turned and left. @marcelvaughn
Marcel ignored her comment about how she perceived him, mainly because she was right and the last thing he wanted was for her to know that. He narrowed his eyes suspiciously when she began praising Aarin, unsure what she was playing at here, as from what he remembered she’d been the jealous type.. But then again, he hadn’t been invested enough in their pas Jo t relationship to care. “I think I’m the lucky one, but I am sure she would say otherwise..” He decided to comment, before raising a brow at her. Emitting a small scoff when she confirmed she wasn’t here for what he’d originally thought, he crossed his arms across his chest when she continued to speak. “And what is wrong with right here?” He asked before rolling his eyes. “A double date? With you and your new boyfriend?” He said, “What makes you think that is something I or my fiancée would like to do?” He added, before shaking his head at her, pretty sure he wouldn’t have been able to sell it to Aarin even if he had wanted to. @sandyxpowell
"Wow. Still mister grouchypants I see." She laughed off his bluntness, never having minded it of him whenever he'd been grumpy in the past. Honestly, she thought it was kind of hot. But they weren't dating, and if she had to submit to the rumours, he was also engaged. Due to be married. A 'that's so hot' comment wasn't at its place here. "Oh I believe you immediately. That fiancee of yours? Gorgeous. Absolutely stunning. She's lucky to have you, or is it the other way around?" He was probably surprised at her being genuine. She wasn't here to pine after him, get back into his pants. The idea was fun, and alluring too, but not her goal. "You, actually -- Not like that." She said, shaking her head. "I have something important to tell you, but somewhere private, maybe." Sandy spoke, and if she had to guess her request was going to be met with skepticism. "You can bring the missus too, if that makes you feel safer. And I will bring my guy too." @marcelvaughn
Marcel raised a brow slightly in surprise when she said she was looking for him. What could she possibly want form him? The two had dated ages ago, and it was no secret he was engaged. Hell, media had been all over that. "What is it that you want, Sandy?" He asked bluntly when she began commenting on the place he considered home. A sigh left his lips, and he heaved his eyes into a roll when she brought up his car race. "I have been great, actually. Never better." He shrugged his shoulders, kind of wishing he had a ring to flash in that exact moment. "What brought you to town?" @sandyxpowell
"Looking for you of course." Sandy swatted her hand at his chest, her touch feather light as if she barely grazed him. Granted, it had been a while since they had last seen each other. Their break up hadn't been exactly an easy pill to swallow. But Sandy was nothing if not proud so she had always kept her nose aimed for the heavens. "I love the idea of you in this ..... this quaint town. The big city was more like you, but I like it nevertheless." She made small talk, beaming her flashy smile at him throughout. "How've you been, big bear? You look great. Glad to see the haters didn't get you down after that car fiasco I heard you were a part of." @marcelvaughn
It was an odd occasion that Marcel was strolling the streets of Kismet Harbour without his fiancée by his side. The two had more or less been inseparable since their engagement, which was likely due to the fact that they were planning their soon to be wedding. Everything was coming together well, and he was excited to be able to refer to Aarin as his wife. A familiar voice interrupted his train of thought, causing him to turn around and for his eyes to land on none other than his ex girlfriend. “Sandy?” He asked, needing to blink twice in disbelief. “What are you doing here?” @sandyxpowell
Why Sandy would end up in Kismet Harbor of all places was an enigma to most. But Sandy knew, she came here for one specific reason. She'd done her research so she knew where to look. With her hand clutching onto that of her bag, she made her way through the town's tacky streets -- definitely not to her liking -- until she finally spotted him. "Bunny!" She called out, flashing a broad smile at Marcel once he graced her with eye contact. "I'm so glad I found you here. I've been looking all over for you!" @marcelvaughn
When's your birthday?
Why so you can look up my natal chart? So you can figure out my weaknesses? So you can destroy me?
