Okay so when I got sucked into the phantom zone last week while watching youtube shorts a lot of the content it fed me was ADHD tips and a lot of it was either useless for me or redundant but there was one REALLY good tip about taking breaks that wasn't about taking breaks it was about RETURNING from breaks and the tip is: when you are about to go on a break, before you step away from your task (work, craft project, school stuff) decide what you'll do as the first thing when you sit back down at your task and set up your workspace to do that thing.

That means you've got an easy re-entry point to go back to doing the thing instead of sitting back down and having to make a decision or having to reorient from break mode to task mode. You have pre-reoriented and can just go back into working mode.

I've been doing this by circling what my next task on my tasklist is and bringing up the windows that I'll need for the task before I step away from my desk.

Brilliant hack, works great for me, hope it works great for you as well.

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Differences between aces, aros, and allos

The ace spectrum is an umbrella term for anyone who does not feel sexual attraction, feels it weakly, or experiences it in a way different than "the norm." The aro spectrum is similar, but with romantic attraction instead of sexual attraction. Allos are people who are not on the ace or aro spectrum. This survey was made to see what kind of differences there are between ace/arospecs and allos. Mainly to see what's common among ace/arospecs and what's common among allos. (Or if we're more alike than we think!) Most questions involve sex or romance, so fair warning if those subjects make you uncomfortable. I went a bit overboard on the amount of questions, but almost all of them are multiple choice, and optional. This may take anywhere between 8-15 minutes, depending on how many of these questions you answer, and how much thought you put into the long answer ones. You can quit this survey at any time. There are so many things I’ve wanted to know regarding just how different (or not different) aspecs and allos are from each other, and I know I can’t be the only one wondering such things. So I made a survey open for everyone to take! Whether you’re acespec, arospec, or allo. I need responses from ALL in order for the results to be any good.
