no sorry i dont really use instagram, i can contact you via ouija board, spirit box, fluctuations in temperature, flickering lights, and certain rituals. i am also on tumblr.
Slams the reblog button. This was, it still is, such a treat to read. So soft, so gentle, so delicate, so slice of lifey. Love this.
p.s. I love your Grad School AU series too!
I haven't done a lot of exploration into Mikasa fics, so I wonder if anyone's written about the loss of her Ackerman abilities post-rumbling. Her athleticism and ability to physically protect her loved ones and herself was central to her sense of identity, I wonder how she fares without that strength...
Hey Satsuki! I'm curious, which aot ships do you like?
Hello hellooooo @sunflowersunite 🌻
Thank you for the ask! Apologies for the late response. This is a question that is both easy and difficult for me to answer. I wonder, if your ask stems from me having written a fic about Moblit and Pieck ?tee hee 🤔
How about yousss, which are your favourite AOT ships, even as a casual enjoyer?
(my answer below the jump, because I am chronic yapper)
All the AOT characters are fascinating, and the way certain characters are written and brought together be it in canon compliant, divergent or other AU settings, intrigues me - - an insight into the complexities of human interactions and relationships, the endless possibilities and what ifs, where two individuals who are complete opposites, don't appear together in canon, or hardly get any screen time, are given that, in a fanfic or even a fanart.
Easy answer being, my most favourite, and one true pairing, is obviously, Levi and Hange (looks at the endless nonsense I write about them, posted or not, hidden in the depths of my depraved folder for my own private enjoyment lol) these two... there is just so much potential, with their seemingly opposing personalities, habits and quirks. Not to forget their adorable height difference. *Ehem* I'll spare everyone the rant that I might go on, which will likely go off tangent very fast 🫣
Difficult being, I am a casual enjoyer of quite a few different AOT ships and also that tiny prick of wariness of shipping wars and discourse, so I'll take those ships to my grave (or in private DMs), though I'll probably expose myself with the stuff or fanart I do reblog from time to time (and have already done so in both my past Tumblr account and here), and also by popping up in some other AOT fics comments box😆 But, I'll still throw some out to answer you question fully hehe: Porco and Pieck, Mikasa and Annie, Jean and Pieck, Jean and Reiner.
Sliding into your ask box now with something cute and fluffy.
I figured you might like a calm, sleepy dog, if you are a cat lady.
this is so cuteeeee and nice to see when I opened my Tumblr app. Thank you @starshower1215! I didn't know how much I needed this until I opened it.
Indeed, I am an unabashed cat lady... But! I am quite partial to doggos too and I did grow up with a family dog, hehehe
(Thanks again, sho shweet of you to send me this. Now, imagine me smiling just like Hange)
a lot of really annoying media discourse on tumblr comes down to people having a hard time accepting that both of the following are true at the same time:
for any work of fiction interesting enough to be worth talking about, there will be multiple equally plausible and valid interpretations that are possible - and by interpretations here i don't just mean headcanons about minor details, i mean how you read the core themes and character arcs. and very often some of those equally valid interpretations will directly contradict each other and that's ok
not EVERY interpretation is valid, some are genuinely just dumb as hell and unsupported by the text
L. V., i found this poem everywhere the moon touched
Hi Satsuki 🥳🥳🥳
why, hello there my party popper blowing anon 😃
I love, love, LOVE it when I can tell a fic author has integrated their specialized knowledge in a fic. I was reading a fic that at some point included the character going to visit an art therapist, and it's so clear that the author is an art therapist themself, and the details included are just immaculate and I love it. I've previously read about a character doing fencing for no other reason than the author clearly wanting to write a sport they understood. A character being given a hyperfixation on bugs just so the author can infodump themselves.
I eat it up every time, it brings such a smile to my face
