Buddy, you do remember that Dazai’s cooking in bsd canon can sometimes be the equivalent of Solomon’s cooking right.
Like it seems that he does it on purpose (most of the time) but he still has the guts to eat it.
Personally it would be even more funny if he ate some of Solomon's cooking when it wasn’t revealed that it was absolute shit yet and just went like "This is exquisite" to fuck with everybody.

Imagine if the reason why Solomon's cooking is that bad is because he's still using the same cook times as on Earth and overcooking things at such stupid high pressure his food literally goes nuclear (I know that the pressure isn't nearly enough but it's funny okay.
Devildom Hot Springs and Overanalyzing their Atmospheric Pressure
I remember this one post that I saw a while ago talking about how the hot springs in the devildom and their ridiculous temperatures so I decided to actually go and overanalyze it.
So in one of the chats Asmodeus says that the hot spring in the Devildom is a balmy 400 Fahrenheit (or around 200 degrees Celsius), which sounds like bullshit because water boils at 100 degrees C or 212 F.
But water boils at higher temperatures at higher atmospheric pressure. According to The Engineering Toolbox, water would boil at around 400 F at 17 bara which is around 16.8 atmospheres.
But hot springs are not at boiling temperature, and Asmo describes the water as 'balmy.' The standard Japanese hot spring is around 40 Celsius, meaning that 400F should be less than halfway to boiling (especially since it's 'balmy'). However that would mean that the pressure is above 220 bar or above 217 atmosphere since water boils at around 373 C in those conditions.
The NCBI provides a hypothetical limit for the amount of pressure humans can withstand based on how far a human can dive (article here) and it's around 100 atmospheres (which honestly what the fuck humanity). But that is still below what we think the pressure in the devildom is and I don't think it is advisable to stay for long in those conditions.
What the fuck is the MC made of for them to be able to withstand this.
(Also was going to talk about Solomon too since he's also human but that guy is immortal I'm not putting things past him by this point)

At purgatory hall they're having a nice normal time baking sweets together. The only danger they face is solomon in the kitchen but they've managed to convince him to be just the taste tester. It's quiet. It's peaceful. Things are good.
Cut to the HoL set and they're freezing their balls off in the middle of a blizard that none of them dressed for. Belphie wants to take a nap and Levi's like "hey you'll fucking d i e" lucifer's solution to stop belphie & mc dying, after they both decide to lay down and let the cold consume them, is to kill them himself by electrocuting them. Levi's nose keeps getting bitten by a gay plant. Asmo pulls out the Evil Queen from Snow White's line and a plant throws up on him. Beel tries to eat a random book he found on the ground in the middle of a forest.

I am deeply suspicious of Dazai’s character because like, he isn’t the protagonist. At all. Atsushi is the protagonist of the main manga and Dead Apple, Akutagawa is the protagonist of BEAST, Kunikida of Dazai’s entrance exam, Oda of the Dark Era, Chuuya of Fifteen and Storm Bringer. And yet, Dazai still sits at the center of all those stories. By all logic, he should not be as important to the story as he is. But here he is, absolutely fundamental to every part of BSD. He moves the plot forward. He is the puppet master, the hidden hand, the author of the narrative. I need to examine this in detail but like, isn’t that a bit weird?
