oh, in spite of how i've been feeling and thinking recently, i am actually grateful for may.

last month, i made my resignation at wok official and this month will be my last month with them. my reasons include both personal and career-related ones, though the personal ones weigh so much more. it feels freeing, though quite emotional having to leave people i've made friends with at work, and my students, too. i don't think i'll ever be "good with goodbyes". ( • ᴖ • ｡ )

i'm also grateful for getting the chance to watch one of my favourite japanese bands perform live at the start of the month! radwimps just left the country a few days ago, and i'm still on a high thinking about the concert, rewatching the short clips i managed to record while immersing myself to their songs, and playing their asia setlist on repeat in spotify. i remember writing it on my original bucket list that i wanted to see one of my favourite japanese bands in a concert so for it to actually happen feels awesome! ＼＼\(۶•̀ᴗ•́)۶//／／

preservation girlie era begins

i thought it was going to be a repeat of my argenti pulls where i reached hard pity and emptied the jades i accumulated in preparation for his banner when i saw the erudition logo on my screen, BUT aveturine immediately showed himself right after himeko showed up on my screen ₊*ˈ˚·(๑˃̶̡̢̥ ॣಐ ॣ˂̶̡̢̥๑)·˚ˈ*₊ now, i only have to worry about getting his lightcone so i’ll just have to play religiously again for the jades. and for the new addition to my husband collection: aventurine (๑ↀᆺↀ๑)✧

i just want to remember that luck was on my side when i pulled for aventurine with jades enough for one 10 pull (ㅇㅅㅇ❀)

sometimes being a rareshipper can be pretty lonely, but also motivational just so u can scratch that rarepair itch for yourself and in the hopes of finding a fellow rarepair shipper.

anyway, here's a wip of said rareship with the photo reference of the pose. i realized while i may have been drawing for so long now, i need a lot of practice when it comes to drawing people interacting with each other.

for genshin, it has to be wriothesley because i’m not known (by my friends and even family, i mean) for having great interest over manly and muscular men, but as cringe and maybe tmi? as this will sound, this 2D man ✨awakened✨ something. like i hear rihanna’s only girl (in the world) in my head when i see him on my screen. his character and personality endeared him even more, which propelled him to the third spot of my favourite genshin husbands (my top 1 is kaveh, and my top 2 is thoma).

as for star rail, it’s sampo koski. normally i don’t like it when i’m confused by someone, but sampo is an exception, and i will not deny that a huge chunk of why is because i actually like the way he looks and how goofy he is. yk, as a simple girl, i see someone with a face i like in whatever media i’m consuming, he becomes a candidate in my husband collection.

in anime and manga, i think the most that sticks out like a sore thumb in my husband collection is levi ackerman simply because i don’t usually like the popular characters, but he’s such a well-written one that you can’t help but root for him and pick him as a favourite. some may think he’s a little overrated, popularity-wise, but i guess he is for a reason.

the recent limited event in genshin reminds me a little bit of honkai's aetherium wars and man how i dislike aetherium wars with a passion (⊙︿⊙✿)

(still finishing aetherium wars over at honkai because i started late and i just want to work on my honkai backlogs (⊙︿⊙✿))

spent an awful lot of time playing animal crossing today that i almost missed my genshin dailies.

anyway, it'll be a while since i'll be able to indulge my time with games since i'm finally hired, and will keep a regular everyday schedule like the one i'm used to (๑･̑◡･̑๑)

i will miss taking my sweet time at home doing whatever i want, but i welcome this new season with openness - an open mind, an open heart, and being open to new learnings and experiences ★彡

there's a sudden urge in me to rewrite my kaveh x sort of self-insert fanfic at this ungodly hour. what is this behaviour.

please allow my weak jealuc heart to ✨believe✨ that diluc is implying his concern towards a certain acting grand master ♡͙♡͚₍⸉ॢ⸍͕͈ ˕̫ ⸌͔͈⸊ॢ₎♡͚♡͙ because who else is famously stressed and exhausted in mondstadt but jean our beloved? (๑ↀᆺↀ๑)✧

i finally got myself to clean this account so i can use it as intended - an art dump of sorts. i used to have an art dump on instagram (ig), but as much as i'd like to think that i'm self-assured about my skills, the algorithm and the porn bots my art ig have attracted were a few good reasons to delete it all together. plus the nsfw rules over there confuse me (not that i even have the skill or heart to make and post nsfw output, just to be clear ofc) - like what makes it nsfw and what makes it sfw exactly? what if it exhibits nudity, but not a sensual one?? the last thing i'd ever want is for one of my accounts to be shadowbanned. that, and i was pretty inactive there, too, so it wasn't really that hard to say goodbye to it. it had a good run. 😌

this summer, i do plan to get myself back into making art that's not really related to my work (i'm talking about sample artworks as visual aids), and hopefully, this blog will be more active than what i had bac on ig regardless of the notes it may get or not get.
