People conveniently miss the "most of the time" included in that sentence, but it also strikes me as being purposefully dense. People would rather focus on a singular line from a character sheet rather than the canonical interactions of Utahime and Gojo showing great trust in each other and their abilities.

Gojo asks Utahime for her help, and in their line of work, that is no small task:

And that aside, hatred stemming from annoyance is different from malicious hatred. Gojo annoys Utahime, just as Gojo annoys his students, Nanami, and even Geto.

Gojo is allowed to be annoying and even cruel to other characters, and it's fine and encouraged to ship him with those characters (remember when he mocked Geto's morals to his face and told him it was pathetic?) but the moment Gojo is shipped with a woman who he annoys, oh no— can't have that.

It's the double standard for me

Not to mention, even if Utahime did hate Gojo to the point of wanting him dead, people could still ship them together. There are no rules in shipping, it's supposed to be fun!
