using tumblr right now is frustrating because it doesn't seem to matter what I post. it will get hardly any attention on here compared to bluesky, where almost everything gets seen and interacted with. even when I ask questions via text bluesky has better engagement.

every tumblr follower I've gained in the past year has been a bot or AI slop artists. it's gotten to the point I only post comic pages here, and if i stopped posting those I'd have no reason to share anything on this site anymore.

as much as I enjoy the humor and art it's getting harder and harder to commit to posting content.

one of my favorite things to do creatively is make music, and eventually I want to make soundtracks for indie games. I've been making music since around 2008 but I'm not well known.

does anyone have advice for how to get my work out there?
