Kai/any Of The Moms Part 2?

I think I read the Kai & Nya one! But I'm reading them all thank ya so much for linking them!~ hope anyone else will look at them as well!

Just a little rant here:

I'm really tired of people saying Kai would pick the fangblade over Lloyd even for aus because it just never makes sense ta me like Kai would NEVER have actually picked that blade over a kid who's trapped in lava without help

It doesn't matter if any of the others could have saved Lloyd (and they couldn't) Kai wouldn't have just grabbed the blade and leave Lloyd there in the lava no matter how much he "disliked" the kid

Hell Kai even if he had the time ta get the blade and Lloyd he'd still save Lloyd first and THEN the blade never the other way around because Lloyd is a CHILD

Sorry it's short I literally have nothing for baby Garmadon but I tried my best

Dareth stared at Garmadon or well a ten year old Garmadon who was a dragon right now a very very tiny one at that

Dareth tilted his head cooing when Garmadon copied him it was so cute! Garmadon chirped running at Dareth

"Ah wait a m-" Dareth barely had time to catch Garmadon when he jumped at Dareth "moment"

Dareth sighed while Garmadon made himself comfortable in Dareth's arms purring up a storm he smiled rubbing Garmadon's head

"Aw you're so cute like this" Dareth hoped when Garmadon got back to his original age whatever that was he wouldn't try killing Dareth over this

Garmadon yawned stretching his wings out shaking them a bit before they flopped down little snores could be heard

Dareth teared up oh dear fsm baby Garmadon was to cute! Okay wait what does Dareth do now? Does he stand here until he wakes up? Or is it safe to walk to the couch and sit down?

Okay so I have been reminded of something. So, There have been multiple times Kai's been referred to as selfish. While I do not know the context for all of these moments, I know there has not been a single moment in the show outside of the stuff with him wanting to be the green, ninja and S1 along with the stuff that regarding the element staff back in S4.

There have been multiple times to work Kai has died or has made it very clear that he would die to protect another member of the team.

Some examples of these:

Back in S4 literally in the first episode of the season Kai said something that roughly meant "I should have died instead of Zane". Whoever Lloyd cuts him off saying "First it was being the green ninja now this can't you think about someone other than yourself?"

Despite not knowing how to swim towards the end of S5, Kai was the only one out of the ninja that could/ would swim because they wouldn't or would be less likely to die from it who was willing and did jump into the water to save Lloyd from drowning, Cole didn't jump into the water because if he did he would have died so he wouldn't have been much help. Meanwhile, Jay and Zane were fighting Moro leaving the ghost and the guy who can't swim to save Lloyd

KAI PRETTY MUCH RAISED HIS SISTER EVER SINCE THEIR PARENTS WENT MISSING/ GOT KIDNAPPED BY THE TIME TWINS.

KAI HAS SAVED LLOYD'S LIFE LIKE THREE TIMES!

IN DR KAI DIED TO SAVE NYA, WYLDFYRE, AND THE REST OF THE TEAM THAT WERE THERE!

If I didn't know any of this and this would have gotten brought up to me, I would have been annoyed as heck because this is a man who is willing to die for his friends yet they call him and have labeled him selfish when he has directly said that he would have died instead of Zane (causing Nya to lose her brother and only family that she knew was alive), has risked his life like three times to save Lloyd, And pretty much raised his sister yet. He's called selfish. The only one who hasn't done this is Zane and the only other people who haven't are some of the newer characters introduced in Dr. Who don't exactly see him that way. Seriously if I had to say how some of the new characters see Kai, I would say:

Arin: He wouldn't call Kai selfish. If anything, he'd be the kind of person that would glare at the other ninja because of things like risking his life to save Lloyd on multiple occasions saying that he would have been willing to die in Zane's place and even raising his sister even though he was like at the youngest four when his parents went missing. If anything, Arin would look up to this guy because he's gone through hell and back but is still willing to do anything for his team and sister even if they think he's selfish but he's only technically been selfish twice

Sora: very similar thing to Kai, but because she wouldn't have pretty much any of the context of all of the stuff that happened without being told stories of it or directly seeing some of the records from the cloud Kingdom (which I doubt you'd even get access to, unless Euphrasia gave her the access because Euphrasia might but not likely). So pretty much Sora would be the same thing as Arin but because she would be straight with no biases towards him because she isn't even from Ninjago!

Wyldfyre: She would see Kai as well. A father figure. Sure, he may not be the best dad in the world, but hey he's trying and he's not a terrible dad again. He's not the best either but no one's perfect. To be honest, I feel like if she ever learned about pretty much every member of the team calling Kai selfish at least once she would just go ballistic because she doesn't see him as selfish. She sees him as someone who's willing to and has died to save her and other people's lives. Directly saying that he would have died in Zane's place. Sure that would have left Nya without her brother But the world would be safe, He's risked his life on at least three different occasions to save Lloyd, back in the fire temple because it was about to erupt because for some reason it was put in a volcano, And despite not knowing how to swim being the only one out of the two that weren't fighting Morro who could have actually gone into the water to save Lloyd and he did that despite not even knowing how to swim. Then of course there's the time he actually died saving Nya and the rest of the team. And well sure he died at that point. His sister didn't need him and Wyldfyre had heatwave plus the rest of the team to keep her safe. Let me tell you when you know your dad is willing to die for you. You know he's a good dad and you know he's an extremely good dad when he has died for you!

Euphrasia: It's likely she's seen the scroll that Kai's Destiny was written on. She knows he's not selfish and the only times he has been was because of my adulteration because of the staff and when he wanted to be the green ninja. Outside of that, he's wrist his life more times than she's willing to count and has been willing to die for the team pretty much ever since Lloyd became the green ninja. Yet they refer to him as selfish. She doesn't get it.

Seriously I want this to be brought up in the show and for someone to go ballistic on the rest of the team because this mine has been willing to die for them pretty much ever since Lloyd became the green ninja and they took him for granted, not realizing who they had with them. Someone who cared for them a lot and was willing to die for them, even willing to die in the place of another member of the team when he died that one time, And yet every time they've called him selfish, he's seemingly never cared, still caring for them and willing to die for them. You can call him selfish after he's died to save his sister the rest of his team and at that point pretty much adopted daughter. If anything, he was selfless down to his very damn soul. And if anyone tries to tell me anything else I will punch you!

Tommy noooo Kai is such an interesting character c'mon just bc ya don't like a character doesn't mean ya have ta let that interfere with how ya write said character

Especially when said character has so much potential ta make I hate when creators do that bc why? Just why?

And it really doesn't excuse Wu's actions if that is anyone's take on him it isn't mine given his actions beyond Morro

How he treats other normal kids vs the ninjas has always bothered me bc no matter what their kids like give the kids a break every once in awhile so they can be kids

Wu never learned from his mistakes with Morro but he didn't and that's my biggest issue with him

I've decided I shall write an au where Lloyd mistakes Kai as his mom but Kai is clearly male and definitely not his mom but Lloyd's little dragon/oni bits are like "MOM :D"

Fear of failing causing anxiety and panic

The comfort I think is subtle but I feel like Cole would need actions rather than words for comfort

Cole's leg bounced as he went over the plans they weren't good enough his going to get one of the others hurt

He can't fail them all his the team leader he has to do this perfectly the others relayed on him Cole can't fail because if he does they get hurt

Cole gripped his head in his hands shaking he can't think straight everything's a buzzing sound Cole knows this is him panicking

But he can't panic Cole is the leader the strong one who's the stone for everyone else he needs to calm down

Cole jumped when a cup was placed in front of him hands pulling his away from his head and now that they weren't on his head Cole's head hurt

Was he gripping his hair? Or pulling at it? That would explain the pain

"Cole look at me" Oh that was Kai Cole would know that voice anywhere he looked at Kai feeling relieved

Kai cupped Cole's face rubbing it smiling at Cole it helped him relax it was just them now no plans no fights just Cole and his boyfriend

"You're doing so well Cole let's get some rest" Kai kissed Cole's forehead who nodded rest that sounds good

"Yeah....okay" Cole smiled at Kai he loves his boyfriend so much Cole's so lucky to have Kai in his life

Jealously/possessiveness?

I just really wanted Jay ta get hit,,,

Zane is a very patient man besides the few times his lost said patience but they don't talk about those moments ever

So when Kai and he agreed to keep their relationship underwraps from everyone even their friends and Kai's sister

Zane thought he could handle it oh how wrong he was the way their "fans" talked about Kai at times made Zane angry

And he'd always end up clinging to Kai making sure the other knew he was with Zane and only him no one else

Zane could handle doing that only but then one day Jay started flirting with Kai he knows it was a joke but something in him did not enjoy that

He last about four hours before punching Jay in the face over a comment on Kai's hips was made before he pulled Kai into a kiss

Kai didn't even get any time to react to that because Zane was dragging him off to make sure Kai remembered who he belongs to

That last bit made me cringe for some reason but I wrote this mess and love it?? Also Zane 💯 broke Jay's nose

Is short and not how I wanted it ta turn out but here ya go hope it's good for ya! ( ＾ω＾)

Zane glanced at Kai this whole day the other had been bratty from disrespecting Wu which Zane can let slide as they all do that but he was also doing things that he shouldn't be doing

Such as ignoring Zane teasing Jay more than normal and a few other things Zane will not be mentioning he grabbed Kai's hand dragging him off

"Let go!" Kai tried tugging his hand out of Zane's grip but wasn't able to do so

"Kai stop it" Zane knows Kai isn't uncomfortable if he was then he'd say so instead of whining a bit

Kai huffed tugging again which made Zane stop letting go of Kai's hand who made a confused sound and then yelped when Zane all but pinned him to the wall next to them

"Z-zane um we're not in our room" Kai wiggled a bit before yelping when Zane smacked him on the ass

"Quiet Kai you don't want anyone hearing do you?~" Zane nibbled at Kai's neck who whined okay so he pushed Zane's buttons too much

"Okay" Kai licked his lips yeah his ass is fucked and not in a very fun way more like in a start behaving kinda way "but how much?"

"I believe eleven more would suit your behavior today" Zane rubbed at Kai's ass who whimpered yup should've behaved today but no didn't do that
