“They were clearly soulmates: they’d often sit together, giggling”
-Jim Hutton (about Freddie and Roger)
It makes me happy when they listen

Queens Freddie Mercury blowing a kiss to a dissaproving crowd member from one of their early shows in Oxford, London
Did anyone else see the daydream believers reference on the finale of The Floor last night ??
The category was boy bands and every other picture was of the real band.. so what happened…
me looking at various pictures of peter tork: mother, twink, kind of an elf, autism stare, librarian, milf, *new england voice* hyippy, peepaw, milf again, visibly jorkin out, twink but after not being a twink for a while, wait no that's stephen stills, milf once more,
“Don’t wait until the last minute to do your assignments!”
listen. I don’t. But I am always trapped in a vicious cycle.
And the only thing that breaks this cycle is the dread of an imminent deadline
would you wear matching nail polish with me like brian and freddie 😔
Oh, sure, I know Queen. Here's a nifty, not-at-all-devastating fact for you: Brian just wanted Freddie to be loved. It's everywhere.
It's in his dislike for Don't Stop Me Now, a song that—in Brian's mind—represented drug use and intense partying that was leading Freddie away from the band, toward people who didn't care about his wellbeing. It's in Brian saying he regrets not looking after Freddie better.
It's in his writing Save Me to give Freddie an outlet for his heartbreak, but also subtly tell him, "Hey, you're a loving partner. You deserve one in return."
It's in Brian helping Freddie write It's a Hard Life, with expressing his heartbreak once again. It's in Brian watching the video for that song and interpreting the setting as a depiction of Freddie's emotionally unfulfilling personal life during the Münich era.
It's in Brian stressing that Freddie was always in serious, monogamous relationships, searching for the right person. It's in Brian defending Freddie's relationship with Jim and calling it loving.
It's in Brian having a soft spot for Don't Try So Hard, a song representing Freddie finally securing his dream relationship.
BRIAN JUST WANTED HIM TO BE LOVED.
✨TIMELINE CLEANSE✨
I made a supercut of Brian's affectionate, mischievous, and nostalgic comments through his stereoscopic photos of Freddie, Roger, and John in Queen in 3D 🥰
I'm sure nobody sat through 90 mins of this when I posted the first time lol, so I tried to paste together the sweetest little bits. Many are cut out of context tho and the full video has so much more content, so I encourage you to watch that as well!
I love that you can clearly tell how much Brian loves the boys like they're his own family, and if anyone else tries to convince you of the opposite(!), I hope this video is enough proof of how ridiculously untrue that kind of claim would be.
Enjoy!
