I literally would not care if paul was slapping the other Beatles across the face on the reg he did what he had to do in order to get the band to be better
lads i just found out about 'monkee business the musical' yesterday morning after just waking up. out there SOMEWHERE must exist a full recording. surely. if we work together we can find it
i don't think innuendo by queen gets the love it deserves from people. it's so good. it's like a play in 3 acts. it's 6 minutes and 33 seconds of the most banger drums and glorious vocals from freddie mercury. but nobody talks about it. it just changes vibes midway through and it's glorious. it's inexplicably jesus christ superstar coded. what is there not to love
woah this character is so cool i wish they were covered in blood their whole body trembling with a look of absolute horror on their face as theyre struggling to breathe in panic
thinking about how paul mccartney spent the year 1969 putting the five stages of grief to music and no one even did a welfare check
gay primate call that a chimpansy
I just have to say it's always funny to me from the vantage point of being a fan of classical music and classic rock (i.e. old or dead white men up the wazoo) how much the pop girlie fandom just can't acknowledge that their favorite singer has any faults. You can believe Chappell Roan's music is fun, her persona is cool, even believe it's all revolutionary (I don't agree with this personally but I get it from coming from baby queers, I get what she means to them, and also I do think someone who makes drag such a big part of her persona is a big deal given The Times We Are Living In Right Now)... you can believe something I would agree with, that she's a good songwriter and one who is particularly good at translating her experiences as a lesbian into accessible top-40 pop... you can believe this and also believe she's kind of an ignorant dummy about electoral politics. It's true of a lot of talented people! It's true of a lot of people who are informed and smart about other things! But it's also like, the absolute least fault to have to admit about a pop musician you like? I'm just saying you guys would not survive being a fan of The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Mozart - and those are just mainstream musical titans, not even more obscure ones - for more than five minutes!!!!
Sorry for reblogging your posts about doing evil things to a fictional character and making them about people who are in the Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame instead
lowkey all the leaves are brown and the sky is grey
The Beatles might have the Fame and The Beach Boys might have the Ingenuity but The Monkees will always have the cross dressing
