I want to watch a thunderstorm on a balcony with coffee and good company.

i want it to be autumn. burning incense and candles while sitting by the open window reading a book, being able to look out at the beautiful colors the leaves have turned while sipping on some tea in a cozy sweater.. that’s the dream.

It is not unkind to set boundaries. On the contrary, by being clear and honest about what you are comfortable with creates a space for others to do so, and builds a stronger connection with those around you.

soon it will be autumn, and i'll have a cup of warm tea, an old, unread book with crinkled pages, and the leaves would be a beautiful shade. everything would be alright again.

Just a reminder that you can set boundaries even when someone is trying to do the right thing. Maybe they're being too affectionate and you feel suffocated. Maybe you need some alone time. Maybe you're just not ready for affection yet. People who care about you will respect this.
