I love it, too. I'm really drawn to the garden crowns in the women's hair.

Wynonna Judd describes herself as an Alpha Female. I believe it! I could sense her strength while having my picture taken with her prior to her recent Hobbs, New Mexico concert. Wy, her nickname, has freely shared about the struggles in her life which you can read about in her book released in 2005, "Coming Home to Myself - A Memoir". I had the fabulous opportunity to win a "Tweet Seat" at her concert last week in Hobbs. How did this happen? Well, it's social proof that when you engage in conversations through online communities, the possibilities for business and personal experiences are endless. I follow Wy on Twitter. When I saw that someone was tweeting at her New Year's Eve concert, I excitedly started to follow the hashtag (if you don't know what a hashtag is, click on my ask link) and was able to follow Wy's selection of songs, what she wore, her funny comments back and forth with the audience (that woman is really funny!) and more. It was almost like being there in person. I was able to ask questions of the tweeters and they interacted and engaged. A few days later, Wy tweeted that anyone could win "Tweet Seats" at any of her upcoming concerts by going to her website, http://www.wynonna.com/welcome.html I immediately acted on this invitation, submitted my information that was required and was fortunate to have been chosen to win a "Tweet Seat". Do you see what can happen on Twitter? The value of engaging and interacting online is priceless! If you have an experience that you would like to share with me, please submit your post.
Merry Christmas
I recently took my GrandGirls to a free event where they spent time creating artwork from Legos. These 3 Girls have lots of experience with Legos since their Dad, my son, played with them endlessly when he was young. He has passed this skill on to his Girls. Here is a picture of The Black Pearl which they built together during Christmas break: Now, when we were at the free event, I watched the Girls meticulously select parts as they began building. After a while, I wanted to test my building skills. So, here’s my finished product:
Most likely I won’t create anything much more detailed in the future but I had fun participating. And, I certainly won't make a living creating Lego art even though some people do. Don't believe me? Check out this video: http://youtu.be/flG-eJpjsLM
Have you, as an adult, ever created anything with Legos?
I need to try this. Sounds so scrumptious!
