If it weren't for Islam, I would have lost my sanity long back. Islam keeps me afloat.

If you are studying the deen and not realising your own ignorance then your ilm is not benefittng you. If it is only increasing you in arrogance then your intention is not sincere. Re-evaluate and start again
"I have discovered from my own experience that whenever someone increases in knowledge, they discover how much greater their ignorance is"
[The souls journey after death Ibnul-Qayyim Rahimahullah page 37]
I went to the market to buy some blood. I told the owner, ‘show me your finest blood’. He pointed me in the direction of the blood that was most fresh, that of London and Paris and Manchester. ‘It is exquisite’, I told him, ‘but it is not what I am looking for’ Then he showed me the blood of Germany and Orlando and Brussels, blood that had been healing months after it had been split. ‘It is extraordinarily’, I told him, as I watched it tend to it’s wounds, ‘but it is still not what I am looking for.’ 'Is there nothing finer?’ I asked. He shook his head and replied 'sorry ma'am, that is all I have’. And with a heavy heart I turned away, ready to walk. But out of the corner of my eye, I saw a river of magnificence and magnitude, enriched with something I could not recognise. 'What is that?’ I asked, turning to them once more. 'That?’ He replied, 'It is nothing.’ 'No!’ I cried, 'tell me!’ 'That’, he said, 'is the blood that is worthless. No one wants this blood ma'am. It is discarded blood and disowned by the rest of the world’ 'Who’s is it?’ I cried. 'Well’, he said, 'where do I begin?’ And with a deep breath he said; 'It is the blood of Palestine, Infused with the cries of Syria, And the grief of Afghanistan. It is the screams of Burma, Mulled with the tears of Iraq, And the suffering of Somalia. It is the sorrows of Yemen, Alongside the weeping of Sudan, And the sweat of Pakistan.

When you open your palms and say “ya Rab”, are you aware of who you’ve just addressed? Do you realise that there is no plea you could follow that up with which would be greater than Him? No want, no need. Nothing. He dwarfs them all. Dua is your door to that might and mercy.
1. Set clear goals. What do you want to accomplish and why does it matter to you? Break the goals into small, actionable steps (feels doable).
2. Create a daily schedule that prioritizes most important items on the list. Keep it consistent to form habits over time.
3. Start small. Focus on one discipline building habit at a time to avoid getting overwhelmed. Gradually increase your commitments little by little.
4. Get rid of distractions that hinder your focus (e.g., social media during work).
5. Use accountability partners if possible. And/or track your habits. Use an app or check off from your list (this feels so good!)
6. Have self control! Resist small urges to build willpower (e.g., delay instant gratification). Commit to showing up even when you don’t feel like it. Especially when you don’t feel like it.
7. Stay consistent. Discipline is built by sticking to your commitments daily, not just when it’s convenient. Progress, not perfection is what matters.
8. Embrace the discomfort. Challenges are growth opportunities. Train yourself to act despite discomfort or boredom.
9. Celebrate every win & reward yourself for milestones to stay motivated.
10. Reflect on failures without judgment and adjust your plan. You will have to adjust your plans quite a few times. Don’t get set in your ways.
11. Spend time with disciplined and goal oriented people. You become who you surround yourself with. Their habits will inspire and influence you positively.
12. Keep your WHY in mind.
Imam Malik رحمه الله describing the importance of holding firmly to the Sunnah:
“The Sunnah is like the ark of Nuh عليه السلام; whoever embarks on it will be successful and whoever remains behind, will drown.”
