the thing about teaching middle school in the current day and age is that it makes you say the most absurd things in order to engage with students on their level. like yeah sure caesar was a real rizzler. now can we lock in and finish these last few sentences before class is over. one of my colleagues has stuffed animals that the kids can keep on their desk but they have to ask in french if they can have the animal and the other day i heard a student asking if he could have the among us plush named sussy rouge
