My name is Nihad, I am 35 years old, and I am a father to four children. In the wake of the war that has devastated Gaza, my family and I have been displaced from our home. We now find ourselves living in shelters, surrounded by unimaginable hardship.
The escalating prices and our dire circumstances have left us unable to afford even the most basic necessities such as food, water, and medicine. The war has completely destroyed my livelihood, and we are no longer allowed to work. As a result, we face a future of uncertainty and despair, confined to overcrowded shelters where we struggle daily to survive.
Words cannot fully describe the suffering we endure each day—living without adequate food, clean water, or medical care. The constant fear of danger, disease, and death is overwhelming. The emotional toll of this situation is unbearable, as we are unable to care for our loved ones or offer them the safety and comfort they deserve.
We are reaching out to compassionate people like you, who can offer support in this desperate time. Your donation can make a difference in providing us with the basics of survival, and help us hold on to hope amid these dark times. ❤️

My mother has been missing for 7 months. She may have been arrested or killed. No one knows. I am the breadwinner for my entire family and I play the role of a mother. My father is very tired and the doctors said he needs treatment outside Gaza. He also needs daily medication. Everything is expensive in Gaza. I hope you look at us with mercy and compassion. I hope you help us buy medication for my father and food for my brothers. I lost my mother and I cannot bear to lose my father. I am still young and I cannot live without my father. Hey guys! This is important so please dont scroll past this.
Wafaa's old blog got shadowbanned, and its just yet another example of how far tumblr will go to silence palestinians when theyre already struggling to get by because of illness, starvation and the constant violence. It should alarm you just how frequent this is becoming with palestinian bloggers having to remake 3-4 times when theyre already living through the worst things imaginable.
If you don't know who she is, Wafaa Alnhal is a woman in her 40s who had left for Egypt a little after the occupation attacked for medical treatment. She has since been working hard to spread her campaign and evacuate her family who she had to leave behind in Gaza, despite her own ongoing struggle with her health issues and making rent.
Initially her goal for her gfm had been 35k, but recently she's had to raise it to 50k because her daughter has gotten hepatitis from the polluted water in Gaza. Her family is suffering- all 15 of them including 4 young children and a newborn baby- and they will have to live with the damage for the rest of their lives. It's taking its toll on Wafaa too, who's had to neglect her own health and wellbeing to raise funds for them.
She's made a new blog @wafs-posts and you all should follow her there to get updates from her on the situation directly. You should be listening to her instead of hearing this from me.

They still have a long way to go, so please dont let tumblrs censorship slow them down
Her campaign has been verified, and there is a raffle being conducted (by @/ibtisams) to raise funds for her campaign so please give it a look, and consider taking part there are some truly beautiful journals to be won.

A mob of Zionists corner and beat Palestinian journalist Saif Al Qawasmi in the Arab quarter of Jerusalem (June 5, 2024). These pictures are worth a million words on their own, but do consider that this was in East Jerusalem, where the same Zionist mob chanted "death to Arabs" as they paraded through the area on the same day. Saif was also arrested by the Israeli police soon after he was assaulted, his equipment confiscated. Is the state protecting and coddling its unhinged far right citizen mobs? Of course, after all they share the same genocidal values.

Oh my! Where are your Robespierre's clothes!! Robespierres are very bashful beings. Even during his patriotic moment he is still trying to be modest. Please assist him in either locating his coat or obtaining a new one for him. I hear that Robespierres really enjoy striped coats, so I recommend obtaining one of those if possible. Perhaps it would be beneficial to speak (gently!) to your Robespierre about having fits like this. I fear he will be embarrassed after a while. Best of luck, citoyen!

The OBSESSION with identity is so crazy like the view that when you do something it immediately becomes part of your identity and all the parts of you have to click together to become “person who wakes up early” or “person who reads” no you can literally just do something without restructuring your whole performance of personhood around it. I don’t know what to tell you except that you will never be able to have an entirely unfractured view of yourself or that you will be able to rationalize all the complex parts of yourself into the phrase “person who x” like you should just be doing things without performing them. Or aestheticizing them. Just try different things on and keep what works for you. Otherwise you will never learn and grow!
