In Bedlam the German Grand Mage is called Sturmun Drang.

Sturm und Drang is actually the name of a movement in German literature that took place during the Enlightenment. It's all about expressing extreme emotions and the original human genius.

The latter would make kinda sense for a name, but the first one doesn't really fit Drang, because he seems dry and cold in the novels...

China thinks about the decisions of her past a lot. About how foolish, arrogant, selfish she was. And she wants to stop. She has, to an extent. She wants to be seen as caring, to let people in. But she can’t. Because at the end of the day, that is something she’s rarely done in her lifetime. It’s something she can’t control.

China Sorrows is scared. She always has been. And she’s worried she will die alone.
