They have a series called Don't Look Back where Leia gets sent back in time to Pre-Attack of the Clones to try to keep the Empire from rising. It's SO well written and consumed my brain for a solid week while I was on vacation XD

Do y´all reckon there´s a magic section of the internet?

Especially for symbol magic and scientific information about magic it would make a lot of sense. Normal people would just think it´s crazy shit that some lunatic wrote and even if they tried, they couldn´t use the symbols because they don´t have magic. The magical websites could even be disguised as being about some weird form of occultism and be only accessible with a password for more security.

And for mages it would be super useful. Why carry around lots of ancient tomes that are probably written in Latin or Gaelic when you could just google everything? Developing the Whispering is taking so much time anyways. Why not just use something the mortals have already created?

sometimes i just want to laugh at how absurd everything is. like, jeff bezos has enough money to literally end the war in yemen. he could literally end it. nearly any celebrity in the world has the money to fix the flint water crisis. like there is a handful of rich people who, if they just put their money where their fucking mouths were, could solve so many problems. but they dont!!! they just buy another house, or a car, or a company where they don’t pay their workers fair wages so they can get richer. it’s just!!!!!!! sometimes i want to laugh bc it’s so absurd and this is why we say eat the rich. 

Okay yeah, but picture this:

okay so we all know that Skulduggery likes to show off in front of young Val. So just imagine him using lots and lots of long, complicated words in order to confuse her. And Val being the little shite she is obviously has to do something against it, so she starts reading dictionaries to be able to keep up with him. Especially, when he´s stuck with the faceless ones she reads them almost obsessively. Consequently, she starts to sound really snooty, whenever she talks. Unfortunately she won´t break her habit of cursing, so anything tat comes out of her mouth is just an utter mess.

Half of the time Fletcher has no idea anymore what she´s even talking about. China secretly thinks it´s the most hilarious thing ever. Tanith has no idea what to do. How the fuck do you handle a fourteen year old whose favorite book is a dictionary? And Ghastly, being the “responsible” one, is just really creeped out. He swears to himself to never! let! another kid! near Skulduggery! ever! again!!!
