Also thinking about how Laurits feels alienated not just because he is queer, but because one side of his family don’t accept him/want to kill him and the other side of his family who do love/accept him are at war with them. It’s hard to accept that Magne cares about him when Mjolnir was specifically crafted to kill Jotun (like him...) I know it seems incredibly devious, but releasing the Midgard Serpent was about self preservation more than anything else.

Unpopular opinion but Marvel's Loki Show will never top the absolute chaos that is Laurits in Netflix's Ragnarok.
That's how you do trickster gods.
But how could you live and have no story to tell?

Ragnarok (Netflix): Laurits "Loki" Seier flirts with men, dresses in gender non-conforming clothes, says he looks like a pretty lady, wears makeup and paints his nails, asks teacher if he thinks Loki is trans, gives birth to the Midgard Serpent, and tells his mom that he doesn't believe in sexuality and gender.
Marvel Loki Miniseries: We made Loki write "fluid" on the sex/gender line of this paper he had to fill out that you probably didn't notice. You're welcome :)
