Why do witches like always wanna fatten kids up before they eat them?? fat is like the grossest part of meat
There is a concept called body autonomy. Its generally considered a human right. Bodily autonomy means a person has control over who or what uses their body, for what, and for how long. Its why you can’t be forced to donate blood, tissue, or organs. Even if you are dead. Even if you’d save or improve 20 lives. It’s why someone can’t touch you, have sex with you, or use your body in any way without your continuous consent. A fetus is using someone’s body parts. Therefore under bodily autonomy, it is there by permission, not by right. It needs a persons continuous consent. If they deny and withdraw their consent, the pregnant person has the right to remove them from that moment. A fetus is equal in this regard because if I need someone else’s body parts to live, they can also legally deny me their use. By saying a fetus has a right to someone’s body parts until it’s born, despite the pregnant person’s wishes, you are doing two things. 1. Granting a fetus more rights to other people’s bodies than any born person. 2. Awarding a pregnant person less rights to their body than a corpse.

It’s sad how many times this needs to be explained.

1. They know that automatic doors open by themselves, ut when they walk towards them they slow down just in case. Sometimes they hold out their hands and pretend it’s magic.
2. They adopt smaller animals and live with them in their homes, sometimes imitating noises and sounds in attempts to communicate.
3. When they see something funny on TV, they immediately repeat it, sometimes to other people who were already in the room watching to begin with.
4. When they like being around someone very much, some humans will take clothing items from the person to have their smell around when they’re gone.
5. Many humans will take their favorite foods away from their regular feeding areas and hold off on eating them until they are sufficiently comfortable and entertained, to maximize on the experience.
6. Sometimes, a human will associate a particular song with an individual or event, and the song will invoke deep emotional reactions.
7. While many humans prefer to sleep alone, a large number of them sleep better when in close contact with another human who they trust and enjoy the company of.
8. When a human is particularly engaged by an enjoyable task or hobby, sometimes they simply forget that their bodies require basic care to survive.
9. Sometimes the urge for them to sneeze suddenly disappears, and they become frustrated with their automatic immune responses
10. Some humans talk in their sleep, or make funny noises or breathing patterns.
11. When a human likes another human, they begin to imitate vocal patterns and mannerisms.
12. Humans come in a wide range of shapes and colors, and many humans will decorate themselves with flashy dyes or fabrics.
13. They will collect random objects with no set objectives in mind- they will gather items such as paper squares, lengths of fabric, puzzle games, and pleasantly-shaped rocks, which they will excitedly show off to other humans.

Before we get into ‘Jessica Jones’, here’s your reminder that Zebediah ‘Purple Man’ Killgrave is an evil, manipulative, mind-controlling rapist and an absolutely loathsome individual that should not be respected or woobified because David Tennant is playing him.
Enjoying Tennant’s performance as Killgrave is one thing, trying to make excuses for Killgrave and any of his deplorable actions because he’s played by Tennant is another.
Please don’t.
I’m also saying this now out of care so that rape survivors who are not familiar with the Jessica Jones world- especially those who have no knowledge about the Purple Man character- know what they’re getting into before they watch the show.
I want y’all to know that this show may have a lot of triggers when it comes to rape and manipulation so please take heed when viewing if you do decide to watch the show.
So like. Jesus was a young brown man, born to a poor teenage mother who was shunned for having premarital sex. He did physically demanding manual labor His whole life, hung out with prostitutes, wayfarers, and outcasts whilst giving away free food and healthcare before being brutalized and murdered by the police.
But please, tell me how he would be a capitalism-supporting Republican Conservative.
Tomorrow, California will vote on a bill that would require crisis pregnancy centers to tell women the truth about their reproductive health options. One politician asked why a lawmaker cared so much about the bill, and her response is PERFECT.

Imagine a world where one’s DNA, blood, and tissue samples were on file. Everyone is on file. Whenever someone with a compatibility to you fell deathly ill, you could be compelled to give them blood, marrow, a kidney, a portion of intestine or pancreas or liver or lung. There are no donor waiting lists. Countless lives are saved. So why does it sound like a dystopian novel? Oh right, because treating every human organ as if it were a uterus would be terrifying.

I say this a lot but they insist it’s not the same thing. It really is the same though.
If it really was about ‘all life is sacred’ they would be 100% with the idea of everyone being a registered donor and not having a choice when it came to giving up something, so long as there was a reasonable chance they would survive the procedure. Sure, some people would die after giving a kidney or lung, but most don’t so no one should have a choice.
And it is for a stranger when it involves pregnancy too. You’ve never actually met it, you don’t know it. It’s a stranger that happens to share your DNA. Sharing DNA doesn’t make you not strangers either. I share DNA with my maternal grandfather, but I’ve never met him. He’s a stranger. I share DNA with my paternal uncle and cousin, but I’ve met one of them only once, and the other never. They’re strangers who I happen to share DNA with. Same with a fetus. It’s a stranger I would happen to share DNA with should one ever exist.
I really wish people would put warning or a disclaimer on videos containing animal abuse or anything like that. I played a video last night on twitter and was not expecting to see such terrible things and now it keeps replaying in my head over and over and it’s making me really angry and I just started crying while driving home today because I don’t understand how people can be so awful and I wish there I was something I could do to make sure that all animals are safe from those people. it was literally the worst thing I’ve ever witnessed in my life and I’m not just exaggerating. I’m never going to forget seeing that for the rest of my life and it’s actually traumatizing. I don’t want to describe it because to me that’s just as bad as seeing the video. please please please, I understand it’s important to share and acknowledge the injustices in the world, but please put a disclaimer on shit before spreading it across the Internet when you don’t know how it might affect people!!
