Ok, so I lied. Yup. Couldn't wait a whole week 'cause I'm unable to fully concentrate on writing the next chapters if I'm constantly picking and editing the previous one when I know, in my heart, they're ready.

ANOTHER ASK how do we see hinny and blackinnon in a happy ending world when no one is dead

uhhh but there’s a catch though: no war and happy ending means we don’t get the same harry potter from canon and we do erased a lot of the parallels he had with teenage sirius BUT…

we do end up having a harry who grows up to be what sirius couldn’t, seeing as he either didn’t have or didn’t felt like he had a very loving and supportive family (even if walburga and orion intended for it to be that way)

and maybe in the end that’s why when hinny get together and grow up they get married and have kids and settle into a very domestic life, harry emulating in a way his parents and obviously ginny hers, because both actually had a happy childhood surrounded by their blood relatives

where as blackinnon will forever be too wild to be tame for social pressure and boring standards. it’s not that they don’t love each other, they just have different priorities and, besides, sirius probably sees harry as his own kid and marlene loves him dearly. i also think marlene has a ton of nieces and nephews from her brothers so there’s plenty of family there and she loves being the favorite auntie

i like the idea of harry having both james and sirius as role models and still taking after his dad and for sirius to watch him grow into an adult without any major complex or traumas, cause as much as the way sirius is could be just his personality, there’s probably a lot of unpack trauma there too

like is he happy in a relationship outside of marriage? sure. did his parents marriage influence his views on the matter? maybe. maybe he doesn’t even know because, again: unpack trauma

sirius black is the king of remaining sane amongst any trouble, especially inner turbulences.

as for happy endings, i can totally see this being the right scenario for blackinnon staying together once and for all and who knows, maybe surprising all of their friend by getting married way into his older years!

this it’s freakin insane, i swear the other day i was thinking of sirius as an unspeakable and here you are with unspeakables blackinnon like wtf??! and yes they are the most dependable out of all their friends (guess being childless comes in handy sometimes lol)

also i don’t know why when i read warless my stupid brain went: oh apocalyptic! and i now thanks to that i can’t stop thinking of blackinnon caring for every small kid they find along the way to the point it looks like they running an orphanage and all of their friends being like: i thought you didn’t want kids and them being so offended by it, as if they didn’t love all their friends kids as their own or were heartless enough to leave poor innocent children fending for themselves (i mean ofc all their friend would be on board with caring for the kids, it was just a comment on passing but marlene took it to heart).

for the love of me, i cannot imagine marlene and sirius with kids. it fits neither of them imo. they're good with kids, it's not like they don't like them. i just think they wouldn't want one. but in some of my aus, either modern au, warless au, or both live in the canon world, i can see them adopting this specif girl (i will insert pic) and i have so many variants and stories on how they meet her. and she's so fun, sassy, full of love, and their parenting method (?) is treating her like an adult. not with the responsibility, more like treating her as an equal? she calls marlene "lena" or "mum" and she is calls sirius "prongs" or "dad"

I have so many favorite hc for blackinnon, but my all-time favorite is Sirius having a bad feeling the night Marlene dies and telling her not to go home, to spend the night in his house, to stay together-- but Marlene thinks he is being paranoid and goes to visit her home, and ends up dying there with her family. I just love the idea that Sirius lives with the regret that only if he insisted more, maybe that wouldn't have happened.
