when i was shopping earlier i saw a product where, instead of there being a price tag, there was a qr code. and they wanted you to scan it to get the price. i wonder what it would feel like to be a wolf and to full force bite onto something's throat. your hunger satiated and your thirst quenched. your enemy defeated. in one swift follow-through.

dear artists, especially those who consider themselves beginners
please, PLEASE don't throw away/burn/delete your works. please.
I know you feel like it sucks. i know you think it's hideous, or weird, or bad, or not enough. i know you probably wanted it to come out different. i know, i know how upset and disappointed it makes you feel, but PLEASE. don't throw it away. if you feel like you need to hide it, do it. put it in a box somewhere, or hide the sketchbook behind your bed, or keep a separate folder for all your "bad" artworks. I promise you that you'll benefit from revisiting it.
i know how you feel because i am a self-taught artist who's been drawing since childhood. and, unfortunately, i have destroyed a massive amount of my art just because i felt like it was worthless and ugly. now, when i'm an adult, i regret this so, so much because i have lost not only the ability to see my progress, but also the memories that came with my art. and it's especially important for me because i struggle with memory issues and this only worsens my ability to recall my past, but it's a topic for another day.
just please, trust me on this one. whether it's a few months from now, a year or even ten years, someday you'll want to see how your art has developed and grown. and i promise you that your works will not seem horrible to you. they will be valuable. keep them, i promise it's going to be worth it
"I would notice if you switched!"
No. You wouldn't notice a person with DID switch unless you payed very close attention. DID is made to be covert, showing obvious and visible signs of switching can be dangerous for the system. Most alters/parts learn to mask and blend in to make it less obvious. Parts with very different personalities and mannerisms try their best to learn how act as the host for the systems safety.

can we like…get rid of the so-called leather and rubber “pride flags” ? it’s honestly ridiculous and offensive to the lgbtq community. those aren’t pride flags.
people are genuinely scared of a roko's basilisk scenario? are they stupid?
realistically no, the number of people genuinely scared of a roko's basilisk scenario rounds down to zero, but the number of people scared of what AI might do to the world is significantly higher.

the more i try to explain gender to cis people the more i understand plato's allegory of a cave
So I spent 3 weeks knitting this monstrosity
Edit: Body was knitted but the wings were crocheted, making this thing a chimera also in some fiber artsy way or something something
absolutely. friendly reminder from your local russian: our government still says "we're killing only the nazis☝️🫡" while slaughtering ukrainian civilians, bombing schools and hospitals, etc. and it's plain obvious that they lie. then why isn't it obvious that israel lies, too?
with regard to israel stating that they’re “only killing terrorists”: you know that members of government can (and often do) lie, right. you do realize that we have historically seen multiple different systems of government commit crimes against humanity and lie about it, right. and you do realize that taking “we’re only killing terrorists” at face value when the casualty tolls for palestine and lebanon collectively are over 100,000 people and going “well they must have all been terrorists” is straight up racist, like plain as fucking day, right.
