Just checking in, Jumblr.
How are we feeling about the month that never ended being back on the calendar?
It feels like the 7th is this major deadline that keeps getting closer.
Also, Israelis (or those who have friends/family in Israel) of Jumblr, how are you doing with the threats from Iran?
Tired baby

REBLOGGING!!!
Thursday, February 15.
Well, do you?
You may have been wondering why the face of one Mr. Squidward was looking back at you from your calendar this morning. Well, on this day, many years ago, Squidward bit—against his better instincts.
You know what you've got to do. Get on up, get dressed, head down to your local deep sea restaurant, and find the curmudgeonous six-limbed squid working there as a cashier. The rest is up to you.
If anyone is looking for a Christmas Hannukah present, I highly recommend The Latke Who Couldn't Stop Screaming, by Daniel Handler Lemony Snicket.
It's the story of a little latke who has to deal with obnoxious Christmas decorations who think Hannukah is Jewish Christmas. And also being fried in hot oil.
You know I have an irrational fear of accidentally sending something to the wrong persons than the person you initially wanted to send it to and then you have to awkwardly explain that it was intended for someone else, but by the time you actually explain it’s too late for the both of you and the sendee just thinks you’re weird as a result
I saw some posters yesterday morning, I feared that this would happen but I’m not surprised…
Sickening!
Yesterday, some of my friends from Chabad went around and put up a bunch of hostage posters.
They put them all around campus, and I didn't even know.
Because already by this morning, the posters were gone. Taken down. By terrorist supporters who somehow find it offensive to spread awareness about people being held hostage.
Who find it offensive that they are forced to look the crimes of Hamas in the eye.
And then a few minutes ago, as we were tabling for Chabad, one of our people came and showed us that he found one of the posters, obviously ripped off.
This is hate. There is no other way to put it, and there is no justification for it.
This is antisemitism.
How are we, Jewish students, supposed to feel safe? Knowing that our peers place so little value on Jewish lives, to the point of ripping down posters of hostages?
Got a new sketchbook and did a color swatch on the very first page:
