Let me be clear on my stance on this situation, it's fucking dumb as hell, the way some people have been acting about a joke? a skit? a boring, overused stereotype? is concerning to say the least.

If you think it's serious and you are disappointed, even mad, at what Daniel did or said, that's perfectly fine. We have different views and understandings of things and we have different expectations. Very normal and understandable .

But the death wishes, the fact that some hope his injuries never heal, mocking and harassing DR's female fans, and acting as if by supporting a different entitled, rich and privileged man makes you better than the rest of us isn't the feminism you think it is sweetheart.

There are only 20 seats, that's not a misogynistic comment that's a fact, if you want someone to talk about these problems then provide platforms to WOMEN so they can talk about them, support the WOMEN who know how hard it is to make it into the sport, give your time and energy to the WOMEN who are working hard to be heard. Speak up, show up, do something to help these WOMEN, stop waiting for the entitled brats to be the "voice", stop expecting the privileged to care about the rest.

Self care is blocking the imbeciles who have no media literacy and are refusing to read all about how the Christian Horner investigation wasn't SA related (since that was a rumor started by a singular Dutch tabloid that's currently being sued) just because they dislike Horner/RBR/Max/Daniel. Just because you hate someone doesn't make them a predator or apologist.

So apparently there was no proof of sexual misconduct and it was a rumour created by a newspaper/journalist and the case was about controlling behaviour. Maybe can we stop jumping to conclusions until we know the full story. It can be v harmful.

tbf from what y’all were saying about daniel’s interview, i was thinking about atrocities, when then it’s him laughing and basically nothing more? everything is just vague, i wouldn’t say it’s that deep. also remember that we’re talking about a straight privileged white man grown up in a straight white men dominated world, you cannot expect a feminist sermon when he’s asked what he thinks about women in motorsports. could he have said it differently? sure, but i wouldn’t crucify him for this.
