When cleansing my tools in moonlight I feel like a mother lining up her kids to spray them off with the hose after they’ve been playing in dirt all day.
Get a copy of the map of your area. Not a country map, a state map, or even a county map. Your area. You can print off a Google map if a commercial version isn't available.
Take the map with you everywhere you go. Make notes on it of things you notice - does one area feel different to you? Does a tree live among many dead ones? Do you see the same cat sitting on the same fence post at the same time every morning? Where do bees live? What crossroads catch your eye? Is there a cemetary?
Once you've filled the map with your observations, keep it in your grimoire for reference.
“I pretty much know that anything I do is going to have some people who just hate it. I’m trying to make things that will make my fans happy, that will make my fans feel accepted, supported and loved. If people want to criticise me and be constructive, I’m always open to learning.I don’t think you are ever doing things perfectly, I think you always have room to improve and learn. I want to constantly learn how I can be a better ally. If criticism is constructive then I am all ears. But if it goes into like kill yourself, I never want to hear from you again, I’m like that’s not constructive. Just calm down!”

@young/new witches: don't get caught up in the what type of witch bs that people are obsessed with. Witches don't get sorted into little schools or houses and that's it. All this "green witch, sea witch, etc" is extremely limiting and lacks any imagination. Witches from lots of cultures do all kinds of magic. Nobody just does plant magic or whatever bc that doesn't make any sense.
Really the only labels that describe your craft are religious/ cultural names (Hellenic, folk magic, hoodoo ) bc witchcraft incorporates so much of everything that trying to label it by elements and such just doesn't cut it.

I suddenly feel a great wave of shame for ever being a fan of anything at any point in time
