oh so when vampires have heightened sensory awareness it’s cool, but when I have it it’s ‘autism’
Neurodivergent culture is growing up believing you were lazy and never tried your best because your best wasn't good enough for the people around you.
NO THIS IS SO SO SO SO SO RELATABLE
Now is this a crush I have or is it cause I'm touch starved and being hugged made me feel loved and safe
hey I'm sorry I stopped in the middle of that sentence my brain decided to flush its cache and I totally forgot what this conversation was
Being sick is legitimately sensory hell,, your whole body feels “off” and there’s nothing you can do about it except for wait for it go away.
I need people to understand that sometimes autism is just this
Reasons I like subtitles:
1. I can see how people’s names and the cities and the countries are spelled.
2. I don’t miss any words, so everything they say makes sense.
3. I get to know what background noises and conversations are.
4. The descriptions of the noises people make are freaking awesome. Ex: splutter, grunt, chuckles.
5. I can see who says what.
6. I don’t have to have the volume super loud so I can hear the dialogue, and I don’t blow my eardrums out because the ambient noises and music is SO FREAKING LOUD.
I freaking love subtitles.
idk if it’s the mental illness but sharing literally any information feels like oversharing. i’ll be like “i skipped breakfast this morning” and immediately im like “i might as well have told them where i buried the money”
Autistic pigeon, doesn't read the social coos
"never trust how you feel abt ur life after 9pm" is a spring & summer & fall rule. for winter it's never trust how u feel abt ur life after 4pm
