The third house rules the words we use, how we articulate things, how we keep track of things, the intention behind what we say, interpretation, information, and conversation. It also rules transportation, short-distance travel, sibling dynamics, our neighbors, and general terminology. Communication, interaction, thought. Mentality. The mind. 

(I’m proud of this post. I’m aware it is rather wordy, but like, shouldn’t it be?) 

🗯️ Aries in III: You are an active thinker. You live fully in every moment, and your mind takes on the role of a witness. You may say things impulsively or often have intense, passionate reactions. 💭 Cancer in III: If you think you’re lost, think again. This placement is incredibly unique in its power to translate feelings into thoughts. Your sadness may have bullet points, your anger may have a disclaimer, and your happiness may be the best coming-of-age story ever fathomed. If only someone would just LISTEN. 🙊 Maybe you don’t feel heard by others, but my theory is that you may not even be listening to yourself. Your conscience tells you things, your intuition guides you, and perhaps you’ve already mastered feeling and thinking your way through difficult situations. So what gives? Have you ever considered killing your conscience and making a new one? The intense imagery there was intentional. Sometimes Cancer energy grows heavily attached to ways (of thinking) that the rest of their soul has outgrown. It’s funny because I try not to get too poetic in these house posts, but this is what I’m picking up for this energy. I have met individuals with this placement, and I want them all to know they’re safe in their own mind. Your thoughts are your own. You’re okay, and if you don’t think so, then I hope you will be okay. How would you define hope? I’d say it’s rather blue…and light. ⛅️ Virgo in III: Don’t over-analyze this, okay? I’m joking, that’s what you’re good at, and it is a gift. You may feel your attention to detail at times is setting you back, but take this as confirmation that limitations are self-made constructs…actually most of our restrictions are just that. 🌁 Capricorn in III: Hi, how are you? I’ll try to keep this professional. You’re likely very big on reputation. Your persona when interacting with others is likely polite, cordial, and perhaps a little distant. Maybe you wish everyone was a little more distant. You’re far more focused on substantial actions that lead to lasting reward…over more trivial concepts that may bother you like sensitivity or fun. I’m not calling you boring because it’s a fact that you’re excellent at celebrating, and you absolutely can and DO channel your animalistic nature at the right gatherings. I’m just saying that usually before you unleash your inner beast, you nourish it for a long time. You’re keen on strengthening your talents, and you could likely list several objectives you’re working toward at any given moment. You want to cultivate a lasting empire for yourself, and you’re selective about those who can enter your social circle as a result of this. You are resourceful, and you carefully expand your network to open more doors. You’re a breath of fresh air. You keep it real 100% of the time. 😶‍🌫️ Aquarius in III: This placement is like realizing all of your closest friends are strangers. When I was drafting this post and brainstorming associations for each sign, I only wrote two words for this placement: distant (and) alien. I feel like that’s so 2012 stereotype buzzword astrology, so I’m going to try my best to explain myself. This past year, my closest relationships have been with Aquarius individuals. Like, I can’t think of a time where I went out and hung out with someone and they weren’t an Aquarius. Anyway, needless to say, I honed in on some elements of the energy that I feel are relevant to put in this third house post. One of my observations is…observability. You’re observational. Your mind is an observatory. You observe your personal interactions closely, but I feel you’re extremely attuned with outer, societal themes. Like, you have a natural sense of what’s popular and why. You have a clear idea of the most successful strategies people are utilizing to achieve their goals in the current era. You somehow know of interactions that you were never apart of, and you can elaborate on your complex analyses in a way that feels like you just have knowledge of things without having to seek it out. I think there’s a fine line that this energy walks on because I’ve seen other astrologers interpret Aquarians (or aquarius energy in this case) with having a god complex, but I would call it something else. Maybe I’d even just flip the words…(you know of a) complex god… Hell, it could be you (to you), and more power to you if so. But I think high-functioning Aquarius energy is very much cognizant that they are one being among many. It’s the energy that precedes Pisces (oneness), so it’s the gathering, community building, and blending that occurs before that. I’m also getting mathematical energy, and that extends to geometry (sacred or otherwise) and numerology as well. I think this energy takes on the role of the divine community member. Tuning into green when a garden is needed, tuning into liquids when there’s a great thirst, tuning into gentle wind when a fire is kindling. You’re atmospheric even. I’m getting imagery of a satellite image of a large amount of land that contains many cities and populations. I think that’s how zoomed out you can go. I think you’re awesome, and thank you for all the ways you help others.

Chris Stapleton)] You contain a wandering mind that churns fantasies, cherishes daydreams, and on a good day…supports you in mustering up just enough attraction/energy to manifest a result that matches the beauty you imagined. You step into other dimensions on command, and you easily recognize the tangible difference a tiny belief can make in the grand scheme of things. So you do, you believe. Don’t hate what you don’t have. Don’t hate what you do have. Don’t hate unless you have a good reason to. Don’t rely on goodness exclusively. And don’t believe everything you read on the internet. Dun dun dunnnn… Your interactions with others are probably poetic to some degree. You may catch yourself using combinations of words that shouldn’t go together but they do. You can love love, you don’t have to associate it with something tangible. You can have joy and not feel joyful. You can be anything you want and still feel nothing even. There are so many hues of human to swim in. Have you ever felt a gentle smile form in a moment where you just knew magic was real? Like, real magic. Magic occurred and you witnessed it. Have you ever had that? Maybe you forgot, maybe you remember. I remember when it’s happened to me too. I bring that up because you frequently cause a very similar gentle smile when you appear in the lives of others. Magical folk like you deserve a prize. The super soul of spacetime prize! this is a textbook colonial tactic that most people are unfortunately oblivious to. this is why looking back at history is important. emmett till is a good place to start if you want to see examples of this tactic.

but let’s also not ignore the countless palestinian men, women, and children who have been sexually abused and assaulted while detained by the iof for decades! their voices are rarely heard and their outcries buried by israel.
