"Typical Air Nomad fashion is to celebrate everything. We have over 200 recorded annual holidays, festivals, and ceremonies. But here are the main ones:

New Year's

Bonding Day (the day young monks and nuns are paired with their bison)

Guru Laghima's Day of Enlightenment (literally one of many guru's and their enlightenment, but his is the most popular)

Cleansing Day (We spend a week deep-cleaning the temples and it culminates in three days of spiritual cleansing ceremonies.)

Yangchen Festival (celebrating Yangchen's victory over the spirit General Old Iron)

Guru Adima's First Teaching (celebrating the first teaching of the first known Air Nomad guru, Guru Adima)

Autumn's Equinox

Master's Anointment Ceremony (once a year, all the new master Airbenders are anointed during this very auspicious occasion)

Descension Day (celebrating our ancestors' decent from their Lion Turtles)

The Avatar's Birthday
