It was common morning for mister Nickson, a quiet "old" man in the neighborhood, a war veteran that keeps working hard, but seem to enjoy whatever he does outside his house.

He got in the car a white toyota from 2007, he then drived to his work place, it was a zone completly retricted by the military, he got into the place, and walked towards his colleague, Doctor Emily Lee Cho, that woman was hard as stone but sweet when she wanted to, Emily then gives Daniel al the lastest results from the test made to the embryon number 6052, who was ready to be "born".

Daniel wont deny that he felt a little nervous while he and all his colleagues watched 6052 being taked out from the incubator, but, the creature breathed and that made everyone relief and relax a bit, because they were afraid the little one couldn't survive, but he did, he was a warrior.

The boss then said, since the one with experience with yautja children should take care of 6052 and raise him, that one was no other than Dr Nickson.

Daniel hold the little baby boy into his arms watching the little one move his little finger, his jaws were just as small and with no teeth, no claws either, and very soft orange skin, but even so, he looked more like a yautja than a human, but that didn't mattered to him, because the moment he saw him, since he was just a couple of cells, he loved him like if it was his own child.

I just finished up at the dentist and it made me wonder how would an elder Yautja react to a s/o that had a cavity but was deathly afraid of the dentist. Afraid to the point that they would run away at the very mention of a dentist appointment

A/n: just gonna disclose I’ve never had a cavity or a tooth pulled so I’m gonna wing it hard. So sorry.

He hates it but at the same time loves it.

Hates it because he hates seeing you all scared and eager to run off to a nearby jungle.

Loves it because he can be your big bad mate who’ll protect you and show off he can do just that even in his VERY old age.

He most likely wouldn’t even know about a dentist till his son told him he’d have to take you to one after you complained of a horrible tooth ache.

He’ll once again scold his son for not educating him on the matter but won’t fret on it for too long as he rushes off to find an oomanologist whose sane enough to poke at the inside of the elder mates mouth.

It’s gonna be his son who got the job.

He’ll hiss at the poor boy every time you wince or groan in discomfort.

He’ll let you hold or squeeze his hand, he’ll even let you hold his bicep. That he will flex every now and then.

His son will probably try not to tell you the tooth needs pulling, instead opting to just use anesthesia or laughing gas.

His son will be all so sorry and forgive me after the process, his father mad at the lack of communication but at the same time happy your tooth is gone so there’s no more pain.

He LOVES how drowsy you are (think of those videos of people after their wisdom teeth and there all drugged up.) he things it’s the cutest thing, you complimenting him or just lazing on his big ole body.

In conclusion he will get you TONS of ice cream, TONS of jewelry and whatever you like, trying to make up for his son putting you under without you even knowing.

A New year started, 2087 such a great new beggining.

The holidays spent with the people we care of,and of course the gifts from auntie Mariana and Aunt Choo where the most interesting ones for Daniel Junior, Choo's gift was an envelope that had a holo-card inside

-."Daniel ,you are old enough to do as you please with this,just don't do anythibg stupid.Love you, merry christmas".-

That's what her holocard said, and on the side a seven hundred holo-check for the boy to use as he pleased, Auntie Mariana, on the other hand was spending the holidays on her natal country, and her gift, consisted in a huge package preciously wrapped in rainbow paper and a white ribbon, the holocard on it said:

-." I hope you are having a great holyday with your father, i sent you your favorites, love you merry christmas daniel "

Inside the package there where tons and tons of candy that where from Mariana's homecountry.

Daniel looked as his son went through his gifts with enthusiasm,he knew his boy wasn't a little boy anymore, but he couldn't help but to see that baby boy he used to hold in his arms.

Christmas, what a holiday, what a day, people on the last minute following consumism and buying anything and everything as if attempting to fill a growing void on themselves.

Others, see this night as a day dedicated to meditation and family celebrations, some spend it Alone and others in company of those who love.

Daniel had been trying to ignore the news all day, keeping the proyector disconected. But seeing his son so happy and joyfull with the presents and cards from friends and family was helping with it.

The last elections were less than favorable they had been apparently porpusley advanced, and it was happening again, aliens were being targeted again , blamed for all the evils in society.

Even when every living ,thinking, and breathing being is actually able of evil.

His mind drifted once again, to the past, to what he was in the end unable to change; because he was a child when it happened , it was out of his grasp to do anything and even when it wasn't his doing he felt guilt and shame, on humanity's behalf, on the earth's behalf.

Now he was an adult and Yet he felt as helpless as he did when he was a mere child.

But he had to be strong, for His friends, for His son.

Because he couldn't just not care.

He Is a mother

He is a father

He Is a friend

He Is a son

He Is a brother.

Daniel smiled at his son happy for the Man he Is becoming, and happy for the child he once was,suddenly the christmas lights seemed brighter and warmer.

Daniel Junior was becoming a Man, 17 years old now.surrounded by friends, good grades not excellent but not bad either.

The boy talked with Knife, the elder yautja weekly, and he had made descion, to travel to Yautja Prime and train further in the ways of the warrior and hunter.

He was one year and two months away, of the day he would leave, and even if for the boy seemed yet a long wait, for Daniel, His father, it was very , very little time.

{A different perspective}

After the bath, 6052's hair was carefully dried and braided, and he was dressed in, in addition to his cloth diapers, a cotton sweater with a knitted T-shirt and sporty-looking pants and socks made of thick fabric and wool. They will not put shoes on until they are one year old, since the use of shoes before one year can deform the foot or cause flat feet.

Then, in the arms of "mama" he went outside, it was a little colder than usual, and there was something white covering some spots in the environment,winter has arrived.

6052 didn't felt as cold as a yautja would have felt, but at same time, he didn't feel cold as a human either, he only felt a little cold not much, he even liked that sensation.

Daniel let him touch a little of snow and play with it, but didn't let him taste it.

At the distance, 6052 saw people doing something strange, and wanted to go there and see what they were doing, mama understud and put him in a kids security chair in the car, 2 guards followed them to secure them, because usually in winter, bad thigs happen more often.

When they arrived were the people was, 6052 was amazed ¡so much people! Some of them were playing.

The ones playing were human kids , they were doing a lot of things, like snowmans.

Daniel let the little one on the ground6052, full of joy, touched and played with the snow again, you could see in his bright eyes that he loved that feeling in his little hand, and a couple of minutes later a snowflake fell slowly in front of his eyes, which marveled at the vision of that beautiful pattern.

His giggle filled the heart of Daniel with joy.

After some time, everyone left, even Daniel and 6052, they had to go back home for lunch.

Tata Cameron made lunch that time, and just by looking at it you could tell the team would be eating leftovers for days.

Meanwhile 6052 luch was pretty and not huge, just right.

Needless to say, that 6052 loved his lunch, he eated with the spoon and his hand because it was easier, but he loved more his nap time after that, ending up slepping at the table.

then he was taken to his bed, to take his 10-minute nap.
