School vs DMC Boys

Summary: Because the fall school season is closing in and some of you may have already moved into your college/university dorms, I present to you all, the DMC boys vs you having to leave for school

Dante

"You have to leave?!", Dante whines. "You leave all the time Dante", you reply. "For like, a few days", Dante counters.

He'd rather have you home and will fight with you about it until the day you go

Helps you pack even if it means your a step closer to going

"You can always come visit", you say. "Dont give me that kind of permission", Dante replies.

Actually. Dont. Mans will be there every day to check on you until someone or yourself tell him he has to stop and leave

Has tried to bargain with you

"How about we live together in (enter where your college is). We can get an apartment or do couples housing", Dante says. "Dante, you barely have enough money to pay rent here. Besides, couple housing is for married couples", you reply. Dante:*slowly gets on one knee* "DONT!"

Seeing you get into the van all packed up makes him proud and sad at the same time. He loves seeing you go after your dreams but hates he has to stay behind this time.

He pulls you in for one last hug. "Write me, call, anything", he says. "Was planning on it", you reply, hugging him just as tight as he was you. You give the devil hunter one last kiss before jumping into the van, Nico driving you off.

Vergil

"You have to leave? Yes, I suppose that makes sense"

He keeps it in how much he's going to miss you

Helps you pack, always double checking things

"You're sure you have everything?", Vergil asks. "Im sure babe", you reply.

Has secretly packed you a William Blake book so you having something that reminds you of him

And some tea because he knows if he doesn't you'll waste so much money on coffee

"You could come visit", you tell him. "Visit? That does sound nice"

He visits once a month, taking you out for lunch or just sitting and reading with you in the surrounding parks or libraries

No one messed with you before, but now no one really messes with you after seeing that cold Vergil stare

Right before you have to leave, Vergil pulls you aside to say his own goodbye

"I will miss you my dear", Vergil says. “I’m going to miss you too Verg", you reply. You pull Vergil into a hug, tears brimming in his eyes. He clears his throat, trying to get rid of them. "I suppose you must start heading out", Vergil says. You sadly nod, looking back at the van. You give Vergil a kiss, running into the van before you cry in front of him.

"Crying Verg?", Dante asks. "No, just dust", Vergil replies, wiping at his eyes. Dante smiles, giving his brother a pat on the back. "You'll see them again"

Nero

"L-leave?"

He's like a kicked puppy like his uncle

Becomes super clingy in your last few days

"Nero, I have to pee" "But I only have these last few days to be by ur side!" "5 seconds Nero!!"

Sure it can be annoying but you wouldn't trade it for the world

He does come visit often but not as much as Dante would. Maybe once a week at least

Blue anthropomorphic wings has never scared college kids more in the their lives

"Nero you scared him", you chuckle. "He needed to get a run in today anyways"

On the day you have to leave, Nero is constantly going where you do; to the room, in the kitchen, on the couch, he's everywhere

After everyone has said goodbye to you, Nero pulls you in for a hug, blue wings also accounted for

"Im going to call every day", Nero says. "I know you will", you reply. "And we will have to talk for at least an hour", Nero adds. "And if we cant?", you ask. "We make up for it next time", he replied. You smile up at the goof. "I'll be back before you know it, dont worry", you say, ruffling Nero's hair. You both laugh as Nero attacks you in kisses before loading up into the van.

V

"Haha! You have to live in some crummy ol' dorm room!", Griffon squawked out. V held onto the birds beak, fighting the bird to shut up

Griffon is gonna make as many jokes as possible about you leaving. They wont cross any boundaries but they will make you roll your eyes at the bird

Shadow gives you extra loving on the coming days of you leaving

V is helping you pack (when you aren't laying under Shadow)

He packs you all kinds of tea when you're not looking

"Who's this in the picture y/n?", your roommate asks. "That's my boyfriend", you reply, smiling fondly at the photo sitting on your desk. You were able to get a photo of V just admiring the world around him.

You brought a few photos of V and you to have as decor. It didn't help that V was the first to sneak a photo in your suitcase

V comes by once a month to take you out and away from studying all the time. He understands it's important but so is your mental health (get some rest guys)

Everyone on campus is curious about your mysterious boyfriend but Griffon is good at keeping them in line

Speaking of Griffon, the bird can't not visit you

He jokes about you being away but he secretly misses you a lot too

He visits almost as much as Dante would

"Griffon, you can't be here", you scolded the bird. "Who said so? I'm just checking on you", he replied. "That's what you said yesterday", you reminded him. Griffon didn't answer, just snuggled up next to you.

Your poor roommate had to get accustomed to a giant bird coming in through the window almost every day very quickly.

On the day you had to go, all the familiars were out, hugging you and saying goodbye

Nightmare doesnt want to let you go but knows he has to

"Alright you three, they got to go", V says to his familiars. They whine but return to their master nonetheless. "We will miss you", V says, finally able to say his own goodbye. "I know you will", you reply. V pulls you in for a hug, one you know you'll miss. Reluctantly you let go of the man, getting one more kiss from him before jumping into the van. Griffon flies along side the van just to make sure you get there safe.

they never and will never think about you as gross or too heavy; they love your body for every right reason and will continue to. insecure? not anymore! they’re cuddling you, whispering sweet nothings in your ear until you’re satisfied.

today was one for your bad days; specifically one of the days you felt more insecure than usual; one of your classmates had made a harsh comment about your body, making you tear up on your way to the lair. your thoughts became harsher than your classmates.

you arrived at the lair a few minutes ago, your backpack thrown on the ground somewhere. you had sat in the couch in silence, your hands clutching the hoodie you were wearing

his breath hitched as he listened, his hands fiddling with a pencil he took nearby “i love you, i love everything about you and always will dove. you’re perfect as you are! what- who made you think like this?” he wiped your face clean, placing the pencil down; taking you in his bed and tucking you into his arms as he talked. “it’s- it’s no one i just feel worse than usual today don.” you lied, trying not to make things worse “you can tell me anything okay? im here for you, love” the mutant’s eyes softened, whispering sweet nothings to your ears. “you’re perfect.” he uttered before falling asleep

your body eventually calmed down, your breathing becoming slow and even; your body doozed off on him as he pet your hair comfortably. even if he didn’t know how to express his feelings correctly, he sure did make it up with his actions. let’s just say, he found out about your classmate and they apologized later.

Summary: A little fluffy Steven morning blurb because I miss him 🥺

Steven is not a morning person. Even though his sleeping schedule has improved immensely after his life-altering adventure in Cairo, there still seems to be a part of his body convinced that the time when the moon is out is not a time for resting.

Or maybe it’s because he is usually way too excited to tell you about all the new interesting facts that he has stumbled upon during the day. And since you hardly ever have the heart to ask him to stop, your discussions often take up more than half of the night. Which doesn’t exactly increase your motivation to get up again only two hours later.

As lovely and soft and sweet as Steven is during the rest of the day, the best that you can hope for when you try to persuade him to get up, is a disgruntled groan and two loving yet uncooperative arms that refuse to let you get out of bed.

Sometimes you can convince him to let you go for a few minutes if you promise that you’ll be right back with a fresh hot cuppa. But today clearly isn’t one of those days. Upon your proposal, he lets out a sulky huff and burrows his face even deeper into your shirt.

As much as it breaks your heart, you come to the realization that more severe measures will be required today. Like stealing his warm blanket and taking it with you into the kitchen after skilfully winding yourself out of his embrace. And telling him that he would have to come into the kitchen to get his morning cuddles.

It doesn’t take long before you can hear him shuffle into the kitchen. At least you assume that it is him hidden somewhere under that walking pile of blankets. You are convinced that he looks even more adorable than usual, with his sleepy eyes and his curls sticking out in every possible direction and it takes all the willpower that you can muster up to restrain from taking him back to bed immediately. You won’t give Donna that satisfaction, not today.

Instead, you try to turn your attention back to preparing breakfast for the both of you. Though you can’t keep yourself from smiling as you feel him hugging you from behind burying his face in your shoulder. Clinging to you like a koala, he shuffles along with you as you keep scuttling around the kitchen. And you don’t mind bathing in his warmth a little while longer.   

While he may not be capable of more than a grunt here and there, he obediently follows your instructions whenever you tell him to walk left or right. That is, until he gets the instruction to “Let me turn around, sweetie!” Letting out a final grumble, he reluctantly lets you go, allowing you to face him and put a large cup of tea into his hands.

Gently brushing his tousled curls out of his face, you place the softest of kisses onto his forehead. As his curls fall back into an even wilder pattern and start to tickle and make him scrunch up his nose, you can’t stop yourself from leaving a few kisses on its tip.

These are followed by a few obligatory and very important nose rubs before you begin to cover the rest of his face in soft smoochies, tenderly kissing the last remnants of his sleepiness away. You don’t stop until his grumpiness gives way to his very first crinkly-eyed smile of the day.  

“Good morning, sleepyhead!”

“Mmmmhhmmmmorning, love!”

It’s been a while since the last time it rained. You literally dropped what you were doing to rush outside and stand in the rain. You just let the rain pelt you gently while holding your hands out, palms facing towards the sky.

It’s peaceful; the sound of the rain hitting the floor, the smell of it, the refreshing coolness of it all-

“I don’t understand what all the fuss is about.” Leo’s voice calls out, snapping you out of your relaxed state. You turn your head to see him leaning against the entrances wall, one arm tucked under the other as he waved a hand broadly. “I mean, it’s just water.”

You frowned at him softly , lowering your hands as you faced him. “It’s not ‘just water’, it’s rain.” You huffed, making your way towards the turtle.

Leo hummed, “Uh huh, that clears it up so well.” He grinned, watching you roll your eyes- though, you held no real frustration towards him.

Taking his hands into your own smaller ones, you tugged at him gently. “You gotta be in the rain to get what I mean.” You tugged harder as he refused to budge.

Leo tutted at you and with a quick tug, easily hand you in his arms. “And get wet? No thanks. I like being warm and dry, thank you very much.” His grin widened as you pushed against his plastron gently to squint your eyes at him.

“Fine,” you sighed, drawing out the last syllable. “But I’m going back out there. You can either join me and have fun,” you offered, leaning up towards his face to plant a quick kiss on his beak. “Or stay here and be ‘nice and warm’.” You grinned, taking advantage of his flustered state to slip out of his arms and dart back into the rain.

“Wha- hey!” Leo fumbled, darting his arms out to try to catch you before you slipped away to no avail. Letting out a whine, he slumped his shoulders and poured. “No fair- you got me off guard!”

You laughed, stepping further out into the rain and spreading your arms out teasingly. “Sucks to be you then! You can stay nice and dry over there, and I’ll have fun out here.” You spun around, relishing in the feeing of the rain hitting your skin.

You heard Leo let out a groan and grinned, feeling his arms wrap around your waist a few moments later. “Fine,” he whined, narrowing his eyes at the sky. “Lets see what all the fuss is about.”

Spinning around in his arms, you reached up and pecked his cheek- letting out a small shriek of laughter as he spun you around.

You weren’t sure how long the two of you stayed out in the rain, spinning around, laughing and chasing after each other. Just as you thought you managed to dodge Leo’s hands, you felt both of them plant on your waist and tug you back.

“Leon!” You scold with a smile, craning your head back to look up at him. “No fair.” The red sliders smile pulled back into his signature breath taking grin before he leaned down to kiss you softly.

“There isn’t any rules, everything is fair baby.” He mumbled against your lips, pulling back enough to give you a clear view of his wink. You hummed, taking a moment to admire him- the rain made him glimmer so much more and seemed as if it had formed a halo around him.

“Hey, I know my beauty is out of this world, but you should come back down to earth, heh.”

Pulling away to turn to face him properly, you grinned. “Sorry, couldn’t help it.” Lifting your hands you pointed your finger guns at him with a wink. “I keep falling for you quicker than this rain falls to earth!”

That drew a loud, surprised laugh from the turtle as he hunched forward slightly. “Oh- oh my gosh that was bad!” He snorted, pretending to wipe tears from his eyes.

“Oh you know you love it.” You grinned, moving your drenched hair out of your face to see him better. Leo watched you wish a smile before moving to close the gap between the two of you. “I know I love you.” He said earnestly, his large hand cupping your cheek gently.

You sputtered at that, opting to wrap your arms around him and squeezing gently. “That was so cheesy.” You groaned, fighting to keep your heart from bursting. No matter how much Leo said he loved you, hearing him say it again always made your heart soar. “Oh you know you love it.” He teased, leaning down to press another kiss to your lips.

“Y’know, I think I finally get what all the fuss is about.”
