Jinx restoring her family back from the absolute brink of destruction, only to have it violently ripped apart in front of her eyes once more in the same manner she lost it is exactly why I will be seated for anything this staff does in the future they are DEMONS
saw these comments on an edit on tt and they really made me stop and rethink for a second, especially the second comment ...

During Mel's flashback to her childhood in S1, there's a moment where Ambessa stands alone in the ruined doorway of whatever castle she's just overtaken.
Because Mel never supported her cruelty, she's not standing next to her in this shot. She's standing directly opposite her, out of frame.
Now in S2, we see Caitlyn standing dead center in the destroyed council chamber, with Ambessa off to the side.
Ambessa is replacing Mel with Caitlyn, who's now desperate enough to support violence and weaponry - something Mel repeatedly refused to do.
Caitlyn also isn't just a replacement. She's now the continuation of Ambessa's ideologic lineage: That a wolf has no mercy.
And now Caitlyn is getting a new parental figure after just losing her mom.
Who does that remind you of?
When your genocidal warmongering colonialist imperialistic buff butch milf wolf mom wants you to join your home country’s military industrial complex but you’re too busy being artdeco steampunk fenty beauty mogul diplomat goddess with a buff latino-adjacent boytoy who has a situationship with a sad eastern European 90’s heroine-chic machine herald Czech hunter twink boyfriend
Jayce: omg dude we were so drunk last night! (had 1 mimosa)
Viktor: yeah (was sober)
The symbolism of seeing this shot fly behind Vi’s head. Even though they’re killing Jinx and not Powder, killing Jinx still kills a part of Vi.
I’m definitely not a blubbering mess thinking about Jinx believing she’s this actual curse on people’s lives, an actual literal jinx. That if Silco and Isha hadn’t found her then their lives would’ve been so much better. That she ruined their lives. That without her, they would still be alive and all that shit.
Because that’s not true.
She was this bright, colorful splatter of paint that made both of their lives so much better and neither one of them would’ve traded the time they had with her for anything, because they loved her so goddamn much.
Even though she wasn’t Powder to them and only Jinx – she was in a no way a jinx to them or their lives.
He kept the glass.
