thats how i think of breekon and hope. two halves of a being that was once one, a long long time ago. they are two parts of a perfect whole, never meant to have been separated. and i dont think its necessarily romantic, because your soulmate isnt always your romantic or sexual interest, they are just whoever makes you whole. and love is just the persuit of wholeness.

I wonder if Michael Shelley got a grave. I don't think Gertrude would have made one; she's not sentimental enough for it. If you make graves for people you lose, you might think too hard about sacrificing them. If he had living family, they probably would have been at least a little estranged by virtue of how much time he spent at this job that, frankly, would make him sound like a lunatic to most people. I also doubt Gertrude would report his death in any official way. He would just disappear, never to be heard from again. Anyone else might not know he was gone for months.

The other assistants... they would know he was gone. Some silent acknowledgment that he wouldn't come back and shouldn't be spoken about. Maybe one of them would give him a grave, maybe. Or maybe not; after all, burials generally involve digging in the dirt, and they all knew about the Coffin by then. Who would want to tempt fate that way, and all for one dead man that cared too much?

No, his only grave is a labyrinth of doors. And even that twisted, painful testament to who he was and what he did, is taken from him when Helen usurps him.

Last night I dreamt that Toby Fox had created a game where you played as several generations of Hiveswap cutesy art style cartoon animals in a reactor facility, and that it was a fucking disaster

The second generation was like “let’s change the reactor design” and the third was like “let’s make that even more dangerous!” and then there was just a series of generations becoming more and more incompetent and disasters piling up until something blew and I was just like “this game sucks why are these animals so incompetent, the first generation would have been fine if they didn’t fuck up everything”

I know that realistically you can only fit so many movies into a list of approximately 100, but I cannot take that "How many of tumblr's favorite movies have you seen?" list that's been going around seriously because there are some truly egregious omissions.

Some of it is very clearly recency bias, which makes me wonder if the op truly wasn't on here in 2013 or so, but you're telling me you made a list of "tumblr's favorite movies" that doesn't include Pacific Rim or Mad Max: Fury Road? Because, like, I was there, Gandalf.
