Imagine how little candles must have cost in the 1700s. Must've been pretty cheap, right? With everyone using them all the time instead of electricity? Now think about how much they cost now. 20 some dollars for a candle. What if we could go back to when candles were cheap? Wouldn't you want that? What if we could make that happen.

not to be controversial but i literally don’t care about fancy career goals all i want for myself is peace like i have no desire to be a lawyer or an esteemed intellectual please just give me a beautiful garden and lots of animals and plenty of paint and i’ll happily work at pets at home or cafe nero

is there more exciting than the nature before the rain, when you can enjoy the fresh wind and dark sky and run rapidly to your house where you can listen to the sound of thunderstorm under the blanket with the cup of tea and a really good book?

if anyone would like to learn a couple tricks for carving pumpkins:

- dont cut out the top to scoop out the seeds, cut out the bottom instead. this way the pumpkin doesnt cave in on itself and lasts longer - sprinkle some cinnamon inside at the top after carving. this way when you put the candle in it smells like pumpkin pie

today's mood: living in the castle, wearing long vintage dresses, having a garden where I can grow my plants for potions, playing hide-and-seek with ghosts, spending the whole night reading magic books and spells and settling Halloween parties every weekend

stop believing that you ran out of time to shape yourself into who you want to be! stop believing that its ruined! stop believing you don't have potential! you are not a fixed being! you have endless opportunities to grow.
