I had this stupid hc that Purple used to work for CD Guy during the time span of Orchid's illness to take a load off her shoulders in finances (much to her dismay of it obviously) but no one in the city seemed to partically enjoy the idea of child labor as one would, but CD Guy took this as an opportunity and said "ykw hell yeah"

He would give Purp encouragement talks on what makes a great cooperate management, how to market, gaslighting your customers, you know - all the good stuff. And luckily enough for Purple, none of the vents went out in vain because he used the tactics and strategies for his stupid trade buisness in the village because you know, con artists make con artistsss (and because I refuse to believe he went from a sad runaway orphan to a manipulative little shit so suddenly, he must have had someone at least because that's a rough transition,,,)
