Holy shit I have been saying this, glad you see the vision. Although Navy is generally far more naunced—but at the end of the day they share a common trait of being dickfaces. The yaoi would be INSANE.

Because yeah while Navy's details are complex and quite out of his control and bounds, it doesn't take away from the fact that he was still a terrible father and a horrible husband. Naunce doesn't excuse nor take away one's actions.

He did love Grace, but it's heavily weighed that he actively abused and mistreated her during that timeframe, then continued to leave her (who he KNEW was ill) stranded and on the streets with their son—who he also mistreated. But I beg that he treated Grace far worse. The adore he held for Grace early on doesn't erase nor counter any topics surrounding his abuse and so on,,

Navy has more morals than him lmao, at least he wasn't aware of Orchid's illness following his abandonment.
