So its been over 4 years and besides other creators having to actually put the effort of making Villainous relevant in America, CN USA seems to have no plans to promote or show anything of it so far. Might I suggest we as a fandom try what other animation fandoms have done and try to get a hastag like #GetVillainousinUSA trending? Something similar to that to show CN that we actually care for this show plus it'd be good to spread the word right now with the new eps out
Yes, that's what I was thinking of doing. I'll post an announcement later and gather ppl from twitter, discord and tumblr, as rn it's pretty early in the states. The hashtag will be #VillainousInUSA. So get ready to mobilize today, folks!!

It was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait. They're hilarious, amazingly animated and even though the pace is fast bc they have a time limit, the plot flows very well. And the last one... Man. What a wild ride honestly. The first ones start humorous but then shit goes down, I tell ya.
THE FIRST 6 EPISODES OF SEASON 1 OF VILLAINOUS ARE OUT ON HBO MAX LATAM!
(The first one being the pilot we have already seen and 5 new ones). PLEASE if you have HBO Max and a VPN (both have free trials I think), try to watch it there! That counts as a legal view and supports the show!
In terms of language, they’re in Spanish, but I’ll be subtitling them to English with hopefully some help. So don’t fret and be patient, as this takes some time!
When the subtitles are done, I’ll link them in the Villainous Masterpost that is in my blog description.

so there is only 5 episodes in Season 1 ?
6 including the pilot, so 5 new ones. Reminder that AI is a pretty small studio for now and they can only do so much (plus covid fucked them over). I imagine they don't have a lot of funding either bc Villainous is still at a 'test' phase. Once they see the huge support that an actual season's gonna have, they'll surely make more and faster! So we gotta be LOUD when the season airs!

Alan answered some questions on instagram, here are the ones I considered most relevant to translate!
Dark Phantom is very loud
Markiplier still voices 505.
They asked if Demencia was a modified human, and Alan said: ‘I can only say that, unlike Flug, she has powers such as super strength and other things…’ And in a different question, she confirmed that she can’t regrow limbs like 505.
The Villainous timeline so far followed real life (if you remember, we saw in Penumbra’s instagram posts the fires and the floods happening IRL), but when the show airs, it’ll slow down and follow its own timeline as they wait for more episodes to release, but it’ll be similar to ours. As we know, all actual real events happened in Villainous and BH even had some influence over them, so I’m sure they’ll still follow ours but at a different pace.
Lil’ Jack (BH’s pet snake) lives in the sewers and Demencia likes to play with it.
Alan wishes that mech would come soon, so let’s hope! (What I get from this is that there are no current plans but he’s very willing to make it happen).

Sharing this most recent animation I did with Black Hat. I got to animate everyone else on season one, but really wanted to give this guy a shot too. While I mostly did inbetweens on Villainous, I wanted to go all the way with this one and get a better understanding of Toon Boom.
Once the season releases I'll be happy to share some of my favorite shots. Also, no, I don't know anything about release dates or other details handled by production.
