Sorry for being so inactive. I'm a senior in college, so I'm working on my capstone daily. o7

This comic was months in the making. Originally I was going to color and line it but that sounded like way too much work for me to get done in a timely manner so here's it in sketch form. Which I think still has the intended effect. (sorry if the style looks like it changes at some points)

This is a part of my au! This takes place weeks after Narinder's defeat so they're both still a little salty. Nari's becoming slightly softer as time goes on, though. Wonder why hmm

I love this au and I do plan on releasing some character designs along with a lore dump at some point...but that probably won't be until I graduate because I will be incredibly busy until then. So, if you have questions about my au. Please ask. Please. I love yapping about these blorbos. :]

I don't know if y'all noticed, but Kallamar always is the one to see Narinder stealing glances to The Lamb in some of my drawings. He was the first to know about how the cat felt about lamb- So it makes sense he would know when something was wrong.

He's a coward, but still wanted to find out what was wrong with his brother he once feared.

Narinder's grief from being betrayed by his siblings made him violently angry. That's what Kallamar is used to. Not the silent lamenting. It... concerns him.

This would be kind of a prequel to my last comic...? It's fine I'm working on a sequel rn.

The Rehabilitation of Death

Chapter 23: A Dance With Death

Narinder awakens to find The Lamb overcome with caring for their sick cult. The plague is unforgiving, and they realize that they'll need to take down Kallamar sooner than later if they plan to prevent any more unnecessary deaths, or face the potentially deadly consequences for over half the flock.

The crusade is a long one, a final journey before the Bishop's door. Narinder humors Lambert's investigative hypothesis on the crown and their issues of separation of power, and how both seemed to have gained strengthen since. The voice of Kallamar echoes from a statue adorned with gems.

Lambert vandalizes a completely different statue in the image of his brother, and learns what exactly is required in dowry for a marriage of a God.

They find Kallamar's treasury: a Ballroom, grandiose and magical. The hand of Death extends to the Lamb an offer. A dance, one that will lead to a very strange waltz, and many important, personal conversations. A dance that will lead to a heart-to-heart talk. Questioning, of one's important to another, and in what manner that might be.

They also almost drown. Keyword: Almost. (The nightmare himself finds the Lamb, and they find themselves confronted, both asleep and awake.)
