Link and Orville are not sure how to fix Hylia, she seems fine, just small. They plan to stay at an inn for the night and travel further up death mountain tomorrow. Unless,,

Something something sailor having no fish back home (there’s fish in the water it’s just hard to tell, sorry)
I don’t really like how this turned out, which is a bummer tbh
Also won’t be doing Linktober prompts any time soon bc I feel so so bad for all the spam posting (might finish them next month ^.^)
Spell Tattoos, Tattoos for Spells. Wouldn't it be cool if this was the way Hyrule had to recieve and then immediately use his spells? Just get a sick Tattoo!

I always start out with a super rough sketch where I just lay down the idea to get a feel for whether or not I think the actual illustration can succeed. It's just a few lines, but it's enough for me to decide whether or not I want to continue with it.
After that, I flesh it out a bit and start fiddling with the composition, the weight of the characters and how they're placed, the general size of the image, etc.
I never draw the characters nude first, only if I get stuck on a specific pose. I build on 'blocks' and rely on feeling more than anything. For example, the legs on Raki make no sense if I look at them for too long, but they feel right, and that's enough for me, hah! Sometimes I'll take a reference photo of myself, mostly to understand what my body is doing to achieve a particular pose.
After that, I clean up the sketch so it's ready for lineart, drawing directly on top of those loose lines!
It's the same for the monster drawing! Rough idea first
Then fleshing it out to get a better idea of the composition and how the characters interact with each other and the environment
And a bit more of that
And then I clean it up so it's ready for lineart!
