Had a dream that I was listening to The Bifrost Incident, and everything seemed normal until the album got to the spoken interlude in "Thor." Instead of her actual response, Odin accused Thor of being ungrateful and insubordinate after she went to such trouble to save his life, with her lines heavily implying that Thor was actually Arthur from High Noon Over Camelot (which, yeah, I can see how you could get the name "Thor" from "Arthur") and that Odin had kept him alive after finding his escape pod and wiped most of his memories with the intent of using him as a blank slate she could mold into her perfect successor. Unfortunately, I woke up before I could hear how the rest of the album played out after that reveal.

Constantly thinking about how Hope writes long letters to keep in touch with everyone she ever meets because she deeply cares about them.

Constantly thinking about Lyndell and the moment she hung up on Gem Lovejoy to protect Robyn.

Constantly thinking about the way Bombyx cares for and comforts others. Constantly thinking about how she comforts the queen when Sybilla is badly injured, even though she doesn't care for royalty.

Constantly thinking about how Russ lives with all of his closest friends, because he has a home he can offer then when they don't have one themselves.

Constantly thinking about how Omen left home, just to try to set his mother up. That was literally his whole goal. He wanted to do something nice for his mom.

Constantly thinking about how the arc 5 crew, despite being tired and frustrated and afraid, offered Shi'elle compassion and stopped the time loop by helping her let go of her closest friend.

Constantly thinking about how even when Remeny was at her worst, even with all the mistakes she made that led to some real fucked up consequences, Beryl said she trusted her, that she loved her, that she wasn't going to leave her. Thinking about how Remeny goes against everything in her very nature and sacrifices herself to save Beryl from the ice, to spend her final moments with Lottie. Someone who always felt she had to put herself first because no one else would, even at the expense of other's lives, finally learning to trust others enough to care for them. Thinking about Beryl taking on the biggest power in all of Hyrenor because of the friends she lost, making a life trying to make space for everyone in spite of the Lovejoy empire.

Constantly thinking about how I'm ep 0 of arc 7, Kyle says that Thavius has so much love in his heart for everyone, he doesn't know what to do with it. Thinking about a group of friends reuniting despite their differences and (presumably) learning to love each other again.

Constantly thinking about how this funky little podcast was made with so much love, and that is so evident in how each and every one of the characters are played. Thinking about how there are so many different ways to express love and how Unprepared Casters shows so much of that. Thinking about how there is so much love and support within the community, and how I've made some of my closest friends there. Thinking about how all this was started because of friends who love each other and wanted to make something together. Constantly thinking about how beautiful it is and how all these reasons combined are why Unprepared Casters is my favourite piece of fictional media of all time.

actually so in love with maud/mallow's character from the girl who circumnavigated fairyland in a ship of her own making and like go read the book if you haven't but essentially she gets lost and ends up in fairyland as a child, grows up there, falls in love and becomes pregnant but everyone that comes to fairyland come as different classifications and everyone has only a certain amount of time they can spend there. the main character, september, spends some time in fairyland before being whisked back home and then brought back in an endless cycle never knowing for sure when she'll come and go, never to leave fairyland behind bound to it in a persephone like state (literally called the persephone clause in universe). for maud/mallow, she lives a life in fairyland before being torn back home, a child again in an abusive household she thought she had escaped to a magical land. and this isn't like uncommon in stories to not be able to return to the place you fell in love with and called home, maud/mallow refuses to accept this though!! she's described as clawing her way back into fairyland and she's a child again and no one recognizes her as the woman they knew and lost and she's the villain in a sense because she won't forgive fairyland for what they took from her and can no longer treat the land with the same kindness now that she knows the cruelty of the escape it claims to offer. like to refuse the rejection, to refuse the state of affairs and to reclaim the world that turned its back on her and make a life in their despite it all....i actually love stories where you can never go back to this place that forever changed you but i love even more maud/mallow not accepting the fate she's been dealt and coming back, even if you are no longer the person who lived there and the world is no longer the one you knew

Honestly the opening of Song of the Sea is so good. Like you start with ‘Come away, oh human child, to the waters and the wild, with a fairy hand-in-hand’ and it’s being spoken all softly and you’re getting ready for a soft and slow but fun and whimsical story and then it ends with ‘for the world’s more full of weeping than you can understand’ and you realise oh shit this is gonna make you Experience Feelings 10/10 opening 10/10 film

So I was just listening to Please Explain on my drive home (underrated song in MK III imo), and hearing Spine’s line of “friction from curiosity powers my hydro-tubes” made me just realize-

He’s talking about Blue Matter. Blue Matter is powered by creativity, which goes hand-in-hand with curiosity. Spine’s not being metaphorical with that line, he’s being very literal and I love that.
