Hyperfixations Are Such Dopamine Factories That If I Don't Have One I Slip Into Depression. It's Why

A four panel comic of Honeydew having nothing to hyperfixate on. The comic is titled "Emergency Button" and is made by Theresa Scovil. Panel 1: Honeydew looks bored as they say "I'm so bored. I have nothing to hyperfixate on." Panel 2: Honeydew's brain holds a red button and is about to push it as it happily says "Time to turn on the depression!" Panel 3: A cloud labelled "New Hyperfixation" floats about Honeydew's brain. Honeydew's brain looks up at it. Panel 4: Honeydew's brain tosses the red button away as it happily says "Cancel that! Bring on the dopamine!"

Hyperfixations are such dopamine factories that if I don't have one I slip into depression. It's why I wish I had more control over my hyperfixations so if one passes I can easily pick up another one.
