Hey when will you start writing again?

Hello anon,

I don’t want to make any promises at the moment but I’ll definitely be writing again in 3 weeks time - when I leave for holidays - but perhaps before then if I manage to get myself together as I’m struggling with a couple life things at the minute.

I feel bad though because I just have asks from months ago and the inactivity and interaction with people dying down just makes me feel like everyone is forgetting me, so when I finally do start writing again nobody will care - which obviously it’s not about likes or anything I just feel like I’m letting everyone down.

If you ever tagged me to do one of those tag game thingies and I never did it:

1) Thank you, seriously. Those are fun and being included shows that my followers care enough to want to learn more about me.

2) Very sorry about that, it’s extremely likely that I said to myself “Cool! But I’m busy at the moment, I’ll have to do this later today or tomorrow” before proceeding to just straight-up forget, now it’s too far back in my notifications and/or your blog to find again.

As someone who’s struggled with sexual identity and just defines themselves as ‘probably not straight’ I related to so much of Daniel Howell’s new video. There was such small things - like leading a person on accidentally and being unable to be sexual with them because you’re terrified of the not straight side of you - that made me feel so simply not alone.

That video was so important to me because, for 45 minutes of my life, I felt validated and accepted and overwhelmed with this sense of hope for a future contentness I could feel about myself and who I really am. Even if I don’t know who or what that is. I can identify as ‘probably not straight’ or ‘I don’t know’ and be valid.

Thank you, Daniel Howell, Dan and danisnotonfire for surviving, in all your identities, for countless reasons, but the most personal to me; so that I could too.

Don’t feel bad about not writing. I haven’t written in like 3 years (pretty sure everyone thinks I’m dead) lol. At least you’re still somewhat active and haven’t completely disappeared. That would suck if you just left with no warning. Sorry you’ve hurt your leg. How did you manage that if you don’t mind my asking?

Thank you this was so sweet! And I just feel guilty when I get asks in my inbox and just can’t manage to answer them, I do try to be active though, although I’m fairly sure most people follow me for my blurbs so I feel bad about it. I’ll probably be at the same stage as you in 3 years tbh. I have no idea what I’ve done to my leg but I can’t stand up on it without a shooting pain down my leg so that’s fun.

Can someone translate what Eric says in that video?

Eric: It was… I don’t know what to say about the first goal… It was something so unfair, and after they scored that goal we were the best team for the rest of the match and football can be unfair like that sometimes

Interviewer: Spurs was able to press Liverpool in the second half until Alisson does one, two, three saves and Liverpool scores again, is this a performance you’re proud of?

Eric: Yes, yes, before the match even started I was already proud of my team, I am so proud of everyone and also of how we got here, the work we’ve done so far, and I think everybody should feel proud as well. Obviously we’re very sad now because we wanted to win but we have to look back at the amazing campaign we had so far, we weren’t able to cross the last line but the most important thing right now is the Premier League and trying to react the best way possible.
