Gwaine - charm and eternal flirt. Gwaine was too good at this - ease, smiles, endless confidence. he didn’t just flirt, he did it so naturally that even merlin sometimes got lost.

Merlin:. because you drink in the tavern, and then someone has to drag you out?.

Gwaine:. oh, so you care about me. and here i thought i was the one courting you.

and while Merlin was protesting, Gwaine was already throwing him his most charming smile.

Just imagine the biggest plot twist is everyone from Ragatha to Kinger turns out to be ai. And Pomni is the only real human, maybe a test experiment to see how the ai interacts with a real human.

MY REVIEW OF EPISODE 3!

Summary of the episode: The episode follows the hotel as they do trust exercises, Charlie puts vaggie in changes. In plot B, we follow Alastor as he goes to an overlord meeting.

My problems short formed:

● so much was going on, but it was still boring

● Some things should be saved for another episode

● cut back on characters

My problems long formed:

● this episode was really boring. It just was a miss for me, I mean, we knew about the angel head. I was surprised when Velvette had the angel head, and Camille was the one that did it, but the shock was over because after that episode, we got nothing on angel head at all.

So I suggest separating Vaggie plot for her own episode, then leave this episode to Camille and velvette as a whole. Before I forget, I suggested in my earlier reviews, keeping the audience from knowing about the angel head, and then when the angel head is thrown, I just know all the audience would be completely focus.

● like I said, vaggie should have an episode focused on her. And who she is without charlie, all the people I seen who like vaggie only like her because she with Charlie.

And I personally feel like you should like the characters for who they are, not who they are with. And for vaggie without or with Charlie, she basically summed up to be angry, doesn't trust anyone, and without a second thought, and pull out her spear.

(I just find it funny that vaggie doesn't do anything with her spear fighting wise until the last couple of episodes)

● I suggest, to cut back on characters, and the overlords could be those characters. I mean, none of them even really spoke except maybe 6.

I think the episode should've the overlords meeting being canceled because everyone was busy or made up excuses on why they didn't show up.

My rewrite:

So we see Camila working, then velvette kick the door open.

Velvette is demanding for Camila use the information she knows. Camila doesn't want to be part of it.

Then velvette talk about how in recent years Camila has been losing more respect form the overlords. Then respectless happens, and then velvette is kicked out. As Camila starts to be more tense, her shadow starts to stretch out, becoming alastor shadow.

Wow, it has been a hot minute since I did a review post. But life has been kicking me hard by keeping me busy. I'm so sorry to keep you all waiting.

CAMELOVE 2021

Day 2: Knights in Shining Armour

Merwaine! Mer-what? MerWAINE! Mer-who? 

OR: The moment Merlin / Sir Gwaine became Canon

So  just in case you didn’t know, and no I won’t ask any questions… out loud  BBC Merlin takes place in the Middle Ages. Which is all fun until you end up participating in a jousting tournament or a melee by accident and there’s people running around who have magically sharpened swords! 

I know. Wrong place, wrong time kind of situation. Kind of sort of maybe just a little awkward. Unless you end up going on purpose! 

Like Gwaine did in the fourth episode of Season 3, when he returned to Camelot, after having been banished by Uther Douchedragon because he supposedly attacked a knight. Oops.

Technically he did attack a knight, since only the audience knew the man was actually a bandit under a magical disguise at the time, but that’s not really the point here…

Right, so back to the melee.

Or wait. Before that we might want to go back to the beginning of the episode for a minute, just to remind ourselves that Gwaine woke up naked in Merlin’s bed got taken to Camelot to get his wounds treated. You know, the wound on his leg which required Merlin to… take the man’s shirt off…?!

Okay now definitely back to the melee!  Gwaine returns to go fight and stand by Arthur’s side when he unknowingly faces the Extra Pointy Magic Blades™.   The episode was called Gwaine, our boy really didn’t have a choice but go back and save the day, did he?

For those of you who know me… I’ve got a thing for Knightly Favours (aka the ribbons Knights tie around their arms to show the world who they’re fighting for, which is also a promise to come back home to their beloved and return the favour to them as soon as the battle is over)

So imagine my surprise when Gwaine came back to fight in the melee. AND was wearing a Knightly favour… And not just any Knightly Favour. He wore a strip of white bandage cloth around his left arm! The bandage Merlin used to care for his wounds. And he wore it for the whole world to see, right then and there on the melee field. 

To show who he was fighting for. 

And to promise Merlin he’d come back one day. 

In conclusion. Merwaine was canon. Change. My. Mind.

"To base characters after an animal isn't a bad idea. Especially if its a demon. But vivs designs handle that theme poorly, since it's sometimes difficult to recognize what kind of animal the character is supposed to be. (prime example: alastor, vaggie, mimzy)"
