THE ICONS!!!!
(This is the biggest piece I’ve ever done & it took everything out of me, I can NOT)
let's play a lovegame !!!
thinking about elizabeth’s portrayal of april in company
so much more interesting than the dumb blonde archetype that the character usually is
she’s so observational, and so deliberate with what she says
she clearly sees the world from a different perspective than everyone else in her life, and no one really makes an effort to understand her
so she distracts herself
she’s a flight attendant, she’s constantly traveling, and that’s a life that suits her because it keeps her from becoming too attached with anyone
even her roommate, the person she’s closest too, is closed off from her in a way. they have their own rooms and everything. if she ever got married she’d “find a bigger place, i guess”
there’s such a profound loneliness in everything she says because she’s accepted that she’ll never really be understood by anyone, and she’s always going to be judged and misinterpreted as shallow, just because she has trouble engaging with the social conventions she’s surrounded by.
so she’s chosen a life where she’s constantly on the move.
characters who are so inauthentic. characters who only show what they want other people to see of them. characters who simply must have control over every part of themselves. do you even get it
It's soooooooo cute that Yami Bakura pays attention to what Ryou's looking forward to...
just so you know if you **** **** *** *** **** ********, that I, with all of my heart, want you to kill yourself
