I have been waiting all year to post this.

I- I just can’t get over Zuko and his arc. Everything he did - everything - was out of this insane drive to prove everyone wrong, to prove that he was worth something, and it amazes me that he never realized just how valuable he already was.
His sister tells him ‘You waste all your time playing with knives. You’re not even good!’ and he masters dual swords.
His sister is a prodigy and he’s told he’ll never catch up. He learns from dragons. He trains the Avatar. He takes her down (with the help of a very skilled waterbender)
He’s left behind by his mother, cast out by his father, hunted by his sister, and Zuko still learns unconditional love.
His father tells him he’s worthless and unloved, that he was ‘lucky to be born,’ and he becomes a man that the world is proud of.
Anything his family said to him, he managed to turn around and build on it. He thrived on it, exploded from it, turned all the negativity into a positive path and it’s just… it’s amazing.
There’s just no end to my love for this character. No fucking end.
Bonus: The weak, banished prince has fangirls for all the ages. Take that, Ozai.

3 things Burn the stage is about and 3 things it is not
What Burn the stage is about:
OT7 dynamics. BTS a group. The way they communicate and resolve issues. Their bond as a whole.
How they deal with their work. The challenges they face both as a group and individually. How they overcome them. Their professionalism and dedication to the fans. Their working environment and the multitude of people who take care of the members behind the scenes.
The boys as three dimensional human beings who are more than just idols. Who are have hardships and not always lead a perfect life. What they don’t usually show us but decided they will this time. Their truer selves.
What Burn the stage is not about:
Ships. Waiting with baited breath for moments or only watching because of them. Arguing about ships because of what is shown (or not shown).
Sexualizing the members during their hard times or making memes out of them. (Yes, JK is overall gorgeous but focusing on that when he’s clearly almost passing out is insensitive and completely missing the point)
Blaming the company for not taking care of the members or forcing them into anything and turning ourselves into professional health care specialists. The company takes care of the members and knows their needs better than we do. Everyone is doing their best to ensure they’re ok.
What we should focus on: the message the band is trying to convey through the show and how to best support them.
What we should focus less on: everything else.

do you… ever find it cute how bts remember each other’s eating habits? like how they were just randomly eating pineapple shrimp and when jin said “people with childlike taste would love this”, yoongi added in “namjoon would love this” and jin went “but namjoon doesn’t eat shrimp”? or how jimin said he ordered bigger size burger just in case taehyung doesn’t like his burger, since he doesn’t like avocado much? or how taehyung and yoongi were about to do a mission of drinking lemon juice and whistling and jin just went “one of them can’t drink lemon juice and the other can’t whistle” out of nowhere? or how jimin was about to do the same mission and jungkook said “he’s good at this! he likes sour things!”? or how they were choosing the restaurant to eat in and jin said “but (jimin and namjoon) can’t eat seafood”? or how jimin said jungkook won’t be able to eat the green banana because he can’t eat bitter food? or how they bought cherry tomatoes while they were grocery shopping without hoseok because hoseok loves cherry tomatoes? or how taehyung gave yoongi the boiled egg yolk because he knew yoongi eats egg white and egg yolk separately?

1. Always have a water bottle in your car 2. Carry an extra lighter (even if you don’t smoke) 3. Get something new where you go to eat often, not just your usual. 4. Make a budget for yourself 5. But don’t forget to give yourself some play money and always round up on how much things cost so you have money left over 6. If you’re texting someone, but nervous to send it, just click the fucking send button. You typed that shit out for a reason. 7. Stay out late, but wake up early. You’ll be glad you had all of your day. 8. If something makes you laugh until your sides hurt, write it down in the notes in your phone, you’ll want to remember that later. 9. When you’re talking to someone, and you suddenly think of something you want to say, put up a finger and wait for them to finish talking. It’ll help you remember what you wanted to say, but you won’t interrupt them. 10. Go to plenty of concerts. Especially outdoor ones. Get drunk with your friends, but not sloppy drunk. Just drunk enough to scream your favorite songs and dance without feeling embarrassed. 12. Always keep a change of clothes in your car. Including a pair of shoes. You never know. 13. Keep at least $20 cash on you at all times. Gas is usually cheaper when you pay with cash, and not everywhere you go to eat splits checks. 14. It’s okay to be sad, but try not to forget about what makes you happy. 15. Coupons are always fantastic. 16. If you think something is cute, fucking wear it. Don’t worry about what everyone else thinks. You’ll look great, I promise. 17. Sex stores are fun, even if you just want a good laugh. 18. Plan out your days off with your friends, that way you aren’t stuck around asking the “I don’t know what do you wanna do” 19. Don’t forget to remind your friends how much they mean to you. 20. If someone gives you a compliment, smile and say thank you. They wouldn’t say it, if they didn’t mean it. 21. Drink plenty of water. Not only does it keep you hydrated, but clears your skin. 22. I know you might want to be tan, but is it really worth being burnt and exposing yourself to all that skin cancer bull shit? No. Use at least SPF 15. It’s not that hard and you’ll still tan. So stop being a brat. 23. You’re allowed to be happy. Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise. 24. Aim to be better, not bitter. 25. Some days are better than others. 26. You can never over pack. Pack what you want. You’ll be glad you have options to choose from. 27. Take those extra hours at work. It’ll be worth it when you see your paycheck. 28. Clean your fucking room and make your bed you slob. It’ll look so much nicer and you’ll feel better you did it. 29. If you have to, make the first move. It’s scary, but someone has to do it. 30. Take plenty of pictures. Of the sunset, your food, your friends, your dog, selfies. Everything. That way, later when you scroll through your camera roll, you’ll remember everything about that day, good or bad.

Day 3 of the may study challenge! I actually sorta liked it! Also, I’ve been listening to a TON of K-pop from my favES ( BTS and ASTRO )
also, can we appreciate the fact that the picture in the bottom left corner, my bias taehyung, and jimin look so great together and that filter is just perfect !!!
