Congratulations Tallulah Stringer!

Amazing, conceptual Textiles project exploring Veganism and the meat industry, showcased as a powerful installation by Tallulah. She has experimented with knit, crochet, use of latex, printing and dissolvable stitched forms in her sculptural approach. A passionate and disturbingly beautiful outcome.

Well done, such a pity this couldn’t be exhibited publicly this year!

Tallulah is continuing her creative development at Strode specialising in Photography and also in contrast she is also very good at Maths.

Excellent model and expert technical guidance and photography from @catherinehydephotography and also T. Stringer.

Accuracy and advaced pattern drafting at Strode with the Textiles team. Expert FAD student work plotting and creating new tailored pattern blocks to be translated into cloth.

Amazing fashion illustrations by talented AS Textiles student.

Excellent use of ‘extreme’ paper collage on Vogue fashion imagery to personalise her own designs. Love these!

Fabrication brief.

Student were asked to donate 5 items of old clothing to explore this communal response to the fashion industry and sustainability. This activity asked them to wrap and layer their garments as a parcel to collate as a collaborative wall installation. The first image shows a focused drawing of one talented students response to this task. A beautifully observed watercolour study.
