Throwback Thursday for Enda when he chose to climb into my lap. We drove to the breeders from a different state to get first pick and this little hamster just ran into my lap and asked for a hug.

I feel like animals pick you and that's the universe giving you your familiar.

Enda is 100% my beloved bark beast, I love my duke.

That nonsexual intimacy of just being in each other's spaces, of gravitating towards each other, always subconsciously reaching out to each other. Finding comfort and satisfaction in being close to each other, breathing each other in, existing together.
