In Gaza, children are not just losing their homes โ theyโre losing their innocence, their families, and their futures. This photo says it all: two wounded siblings, comforting each other in the absence of the world. No one is standing beside us like ourselves. And still, we hold each other together.
I am a mother living this same nightmare. My son is badly injured. He cries every night in pain, and I live every moment afraid I might lose him. He needs urgent medical treatment abroad โ but we are trapped in a place where even hope is under siege. I fear I will wake up tomorrow and find him gone. Just like so many other mothers here.
Please โ if you have a heart, donโt look away. Help me save my childโs life. Every donation brings us closer to the treatment he desperately needs. Stand beside us. Stand with humanity. Help us bring back the future they are trying to erase.

Hotdog Shenanigans
[ID: a comic of Sans and Papyrus from Undertale. Sans appears with a red nose, and Papyrus accusatorily asks: "Sans, why are you wearing that?"
Sans: "wearing what?"
Papyrus: "That red nose!"
Sans, pointing at his face: "oh this? it's not a nose."
He pinches it, creating a honk, and starts pulling it out of his nose cavity, with a slide whistle effect. Revealing its full length, he holds it up and explains: "its a hotdog."
Papyrus is speechless, with a shocked and horrified expression. End ID.]
New Year's resolution
The Barbie movie reminded me about how when I was little my parents were upset that I kept making my Barbie dolls kiss, so they bought me a Ken doll. The next day they found me having a funeral for poor Ken in the garden, he had died of tuberculosis. All the Barbies were in attendance and I buried him under our rose bush. The Barbies were too poor to afford a headstone (it was 1875) so I didnโt mark where the grave was and I never could find him again. Heโs probably still there.
